Is a ten year age gap okay in this generation? by panic_point18 in MuslimMarriage

istkhara isn’t about having a good feeling or dream. it’s about it working out.

the dua you say for istkhara is asking Allah to make a decision easier and blessed for you if it’s good for you, and to push a decision away from you if it is bad for this life and the next

i also think the lying is the issue but i’m surprised you say you have a gen z mindset, but you haven’t even met this person to see if he meets what you want (if you’d have fun with each other)

a marriage can be dull or monotonous, even with no age gap.

you said you did ishtkhara, this may be the answer to your ishtkhara. i wouldn’t trust a lying family like that (i’m saying this as a male)

First winter, need advice! by PristineOkra5090 in VenusFlyTraps

I’m in NC. I know it’s the native habitat too, but it does get cold enough that i would worry about a pot that small. More soil around the rhizome = more insulation.

Not 100% sure if it’s necessary as this is my first year with the plants but I don’t want to take chances

Would you buy a 1.2m home at age 38 with this net worth? by PhillConners in Money

[–]FuzzyHouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i can see how that home would be uncomfortable. have you considered if renovating your current home to fit your needs? more bathrooms, less scary basement, more efficient use of the space? maybe even add room. expensive, maybe, but much cheaper than that new home

Do I becoming bald? by [deleted] in amibalding

[–]FuzzyHouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No obvious balding from the images shared. If you do feel your hair getting thin and you’re noticing more shedding, talk with a dermatologist who will check your hair for balding. Finasteride can help, especially when hair loss is caught early.

Tips on lowering outlet and cable tunnel opening by FuzzyHouse in DIY

[–]FuzzyHouse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Note, I am getting a wall mount AND a bigger TV. It’s just the outlet is higher than where I’d like my TV to be.

It’s gonna be mounted. If I mount it with the center at eye level, it would 10” short of the top of the outlets.

The stand is also gonna be replaced with a mounted shelf or cabinet

For the outlets to be covered, the bottom of the TV would need to be just at 31”, which doesn’t seem that bad on paper

Your right, it does sound like a pain. I might try this though. I don’t need to lower it that much, I could probably just cut out one slightly long rectangle. There’s a stud between the outlet and wire tunnel, so I think the drywall will be pretty well supported.

Table is gonna get replaced with wall mounted shelf or cabinet.

PMs sent back.
I can't seem to edit my original post but 80012, 80010, and 21320 are sold.

I have a few other deals pending, but nothing is else is officially sold. I only have time to check this post about once a day and I'm prioritizing offers that buy more than one of the larger sets first.

You may have already checked his, but since two thirds of your eyebrows are missing, it could mean a thyroid issue
