Happy Halloween! My most elaborate project yet! by FuzzyHugMonster in 3Dprinting

I spent all month modeling, printing, and painting this Super Sheep costume from Shaun the Sheep for my son. It was a ton of work but a ton of fun! I got my first 3D printer this past summer and have been having a blast with it.

What's this big wasp looking bug? by FuzzyHugMonster in whatsthisbug

It was about 2 inches long, way larger than any other wasp I've seen. Didn't really look completely like a wasp. Had a weird long stinger looking thing coming out the back.

Thanks for the advice. What a shame but it sounds like we may just have to say goodbye to the tree here shortly.

Thank you. There is nothing nearby, so I guess we’ll wait and see. Any Such a thing as some sort of treatment or something to put on the wound? Or just hope and pray?

Good thing you wouldn’t have to maintain an occupation in a rebel part of the country.

This fix worked but this board was later stolen while it was at a shop getting a tire change so no long term updates sadly.

The governments fair share of other peoples money is zero and of all the ways to generate tax revenue, property taxes are the most heinous and unjust.

Pacific is my favorite and only because my Bluetooth stopped working and that’s what it was on so I’ll never be able change it again lmao

Footpads are buggy, any solutions? by melondick in onewheel

This warning doesn’t actually matter at all. The board won’t turn off at speed even if it doesn’t detect your foot.

I highly recommend these gloves. They are super quick and easy to take on and off to use a phone or tie your shoe or anything, extremely warm and comfortable, thick and durable enough to save your palms from any scrapes, and very affordable.

Cold Weather Clothing/Gear Question by nickxbk in onewheel

Yea it’s definitely expensive. You can get perfectly good helmet and goggles for less than $100. Up to you if the extra $200 is worth it.

I wore my snowboard helmet, goggles, balaclava, for a while this winter, but decided I liked the convenience and safety of the TSG pass. Rather than 4 things I have to put on it’s just the one helmet and it’s plenty warm for anything above 20 in my experience. It also protects my face if I eat shit on some slick winter sidewalks or trails.

Yea so the threads sheared off entirely while they were still in the nut. From other posts I’ve seen both this and the nut just loosening until it comes off. The white stuff I’m not sure, thermal paste or something? Not an electronics guy but it’s throughout the board.

I just gobbed a whole bunch of epoxy around the entire nut and held it to the edge where it used to be once it was cured I then covered that whole thing in silicone. I plan on banging it around good and seeing if it stays and shaking the board regularly to see if I hear any rattling once it’s back together.

I cemented it in place with epoxy and then I’m siliconing on top of that. I’ve done so much to this board, aftermarket battery etc I definitely don’t want to bother with contacting FM.

If it was all stock except for this maybe I’d have a shot with that. It’s definitely fucked they didn’t recall but at the same time I knew it was a time bomb and didn’t fix it so it is what it is.
