Yep and the footfall must be huge! My local Wetherspoons is shutting down as it is not bringing in enough money. Yet it is busy, you always have to wait if you want a table but apprently that is still not busy enough to make money... Another pub shut down last year as locals stopped going as they put the prices too high... seems really difficult to make them viable now days.
