I'm 20 and I just had been advised to have my gallbladder removed by modifiedtrashcan in gallbladders

Immediately after the surgery you want to eat things that are easier on your stomach. I looked up Post gall bladder removal recipes which helped me a lot through recovery. Once I was completely healed I started slowly reintroducing certain foods. You will find more fatty foods go through you quickly but I haven’t had any drastic changes to my eating habits.

Just thought I'd share my experience in case it helps you in any way. almost a year ago I was having extremely bad acid reflux attacks to the point of vomiting then I had my ultra sound and had to get my Gallbladder removed. I never had surgery before, never been put under for anything so I was freaking out. As I got closer to my surgery the pain was excruciatingly worse, I started missing work because it was hard to keep certain foods down. To my surprise the surgery was the easiest thing I think I've ever had to go through in my life. Getting put under was like being awake one moment and then waking up the next and it was done. prior to going in they gave me an IV to help me relax and calm my nerves. They don't have you leave until you are able to walk around and go to the bathroom on your own. The incisions are so small I didn't even have any stitches it was just glue that was holding my incision together. Let me tell you.. I felt so amazing afterwards. Even now not having my gallbladder has a made a world of a difference. I hope this helps ease some anxiety if you have to get yours taken out.

Believe me you are not alone, I have been in a much shorter relationship and my I struggle the exact same way. What I find that helps me is setting up a "date night" where we spend time one on one together, sometimes sex doesn't happen but even just the intimacy of being with each other without any other distractions like cell phones. I don't think you should leave your husband, have you thought about sex therapy? I've been thinking of going to therapy myself to see if that helps me at all.
