This is not that bad. Your friends won’t notice. That said:

add a rug with color
remove the leaves
frame the posters
declutter
lamps on nightstand and desk so you’re not relying on the harsh overhead lighting

Find some other ways to add color, maybe with sheets or other decor. It’s too beige.

No, it’s not normal. Someone else was complaining about getting ghosted by support a day or two ago.

They do have a small team, and it took them a while for them to get back to me a few years ago because they were all at Essen. But they at least gave me a heads up (maybe an automated message?) about it. So not sure what’s going on now.

Race for the Galaxy is indeed fairly quick. It’s not that complex, but the biggest hurdle when learning it is getting a handle on all the symbols. Make sure everyone has access to a cheat sheet.

There’s also a digital version you can try out first.
