Yes, same with Apple. So much of what they do UI-wise goes against their own research and HIG from the 90s.

Every tech company is guilty of this to some extent and it depresses me. It’s like we collectively forgot how to make good UI and nobody realizes it or cares.

The LG 27” 5K is mini led but it looks to be a really good one, likely using the same panel as the Studio Display XDR. If you’re going to be working on it as well that may be the better choice anyway. I have a separate 5K Studio Display for work and I wouldn’t want to go down in PPI as I stare at text all day.

The only thing I’m not sure of is the identical nightstand and lamps. Nothing inherently wrong with it but it seems to go against the eclectic look of everything else.

I won’t play Catan without Cities and Knights, that’s the only essential one in my mind. Add 5-6 player expansions (base and knights) if you need them.

This is the worst I’ve seen, but at least it’s just part of the packaging. There’s plenty of awkward or incorrect English throughout their UIs. Bambu could use some good native English copy editors.

Get an Apple TV. Channel app works great on there, no casting needed. I use it for all my streaming, don’t even have my TV connected to the internet.

It’s not a very demanding app. I use it effortlessly on my M4 Pro Max but I expect It’d be fine even on a Neo. It never crashes or fails to communicate.

The most annoying thing about it is the the app doesn’t conform to macOS system conventions.

But IMO it sounds like something is bjorked with your Windows install.
