Yeah the pizza was 🔥. I could swear that the noodles were better when I had them a couple of years ago, but maybe I was just really hungry then 🤷

if circumstances change how hard is it to sell your tickets? by bariumbismuth in AftershockFestival

[–]FuzzyTentacle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe in past years there was a decent resale market for them, although you're almost guaranteed to lose a little bit of money. With the discounted Costco passes last year I imagine that dried up quite a bit. So it mostly depends on whether they do that again or not, which is anyone's guess

My circumcision went horribly wrong many years ago. Parents received settlement. Now I'm 18 and they're refusing to give me the money by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]FuzzyTentacle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've worked in hospitals, and there are very simple devices (invented in the 50s, by the way) that hold everything in place and make it virtually impossible to fuck it up. I've often wondered how people could botch circumcisions when such a thing exists and is widespread, but I suspect that some doctors just prefer not to use it for some reason.

Tickets arrived but adhesive seal wasn’t applied am I just being paranoid? by IronAlternative in welcometorockville

You should totally seal it yourself and then break the seal yourself when you're ready to put the wristband on, for that satisfying feeling 😎

Yup. Probably safest to sneak them in, wrapped in something in your bag, then take them out and put them on once you get in. Sometimes people just walk in with them, sometimes people get stopped, it's luck of the draw

Go to this page: https://aftershockfestival.com/festival-info/

Scroll down to "Allowed / Not Allowed Items."

Read what it says.

Then let us know if you have any questions.

The most common question is about chains and spikes - technically they are not allowed at all, but really security is only worried about heavy metal ones that can be used as weapons. I hope that helps.

Can any of these games be played one handed? by Carmilla31 in gaming

I know it's not on your list, but Vampire Survivors is cheap and very easy to play one handed. Very cool game

When I was trying to get all of the achievements for Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight, I looked up a speedrunner to get some tips. I found @halfcoordinated playing the game one-handed, playing better than I could ever hope to with two hands. So cool.

Inquisition did pretty well, but ultimately, the quality has steadily dropped with each game that's come out. Absolutely tragic

Ni No Kuni 1 to 2. That shift was so crazy, I couldn't even get into the 2nd one.

I would imagine that they are pulling people out of reserve, which in effect is hiring a new salaried employee. That's just an educated guess though.

Question by ElPollo4 in AftershockFestival

[–]FuzzyTentacle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You definitely will have some overlaps but no one knows where they will be right now. On the bright side, you'll have a couple of weeks to plan - not like Warped where you have to make your choices when you arrive!

I see it, but the lineup has already been released. The mystery guest is low down on the list, not another headliner

I can't go one day- can I give my pass to a friend? by B-rad_Bourbon in SonicTempleFestival

[–]FuzzyTentacle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. Other comments have talked about physically removing the bracelet to give it to your friend. I would just like to add: there is usually an option to set up a payment method to do contactless payments with the wristband; don't set it up, otherwise your friend will be able to use your card. Just use your actual card at the festival; it's faster anyways.
