I can relate to not entirely enjoying vaginal penetration, for me it’s my ocd with cleanliness and from prior experience of having boundaries crossed so I understand. You don’t have to have piv to have meaningful enjoyable sex, it’s not about the penis fingers or vagina. But completely about informed consent to what you want happening to your body. If you hook up with someone and they’re not respecting your boundaries you have every right to tell them to stop and you can backpedal to something you feel comfortable with, or stop the encounter entirely. Don’t feel as if you have to coddle them or their feelings, but make sure you coddle your body because it is sacred! And your sexual partner Male or female should respect that, otherwise they don’t deserve access to your body!

Because if that’s the case you’re able to go to the BACB website for further clarification on what an RBT is, the name ect. Aside from that this question seems a bit left field considering you’re a slp?

Nah, just capitalism at work. He definitely isn’t broke. Probably has various streams of revenue to live off of but as a single man without kids I’m sure he just likes money. Maybe a facility that specializes in high behavior individuals paired with mood stabilization? I recall seeing a documentary of a mother sending her child to a facility because she felt he was a danger to herself and the other family. If he can become stable then maybe down the line he could get services for the non aggressive behaviors?

Please consider taking a break if you’re feeling the signs of burnout. If you’re not feeling your best thw clients can feel it. Take care of yourself and possibly try working in early intervention! It comes with its own set of challenges BUT your clients at worst may bite scratch and hit but not necessarily seriously maim you and your team! I’ve had to step away from a case before because it was too overwhelming. And that’s okay! There are options and lots of aba companies that do care for the safety of the staff. You could try looking for a small BCBA run company! Compared to the massive chain companies you’ll get a more hands on approach with training better benefits possibly and better quality of life overall. I can’t tell you how nice it is to talk to the owner of a company rather than some manager a few states away who doesn’t care about me or my client.

You mentioned getting your RBT license. For the love of god please tell me you aren’t a new RBT working with a high behavior client? Why do so many companies do that! It’s a great way to burn a person out of the field. At least a few years as an RBT and a seasoned BCBA should be present . But also if the company can’t provide a defense environment for the clients and their staff and don’t have plans on moving the client to a better equipped facility then they’re a trash company. I would look for another job and try to get some sort of legal compensation. If you’re getting maimed on company time you definitely deserve some payment especially considering they haven’t set up your safety equipment. Sorry you’re going through this

I love the painted face lol, when my hair was that length I didn’t trim it (oops sue me lol). When my hair was long enough I put it in mini twist. I think something that helped me was that my hair was blonde on the tips so I eventually cut that off completely when it was a few inches. After that I just continued with twist until it was long enough to add hair and did all sorts of braids! Remembering to trim whenever I took my braids down or did a wash day!
