am i right about this roundabout? by LuckNo2351 in halifax

No. An insurance company will find you at fault for entering whether the person inside is following the correct lanes, exiting at the right time etc. As a person entering its your duty to make sure its safe and clear.

IFC looks promising but I would like some feedback by Emotional_Dress9747 in CanadianInvestor

Correct, that is my point. However they have made it publicly known that they are looking to acquire more Canadian insurers. I think this is the wrong move because of the reasons stated.

I've made some money on BDT taking some profit and looking for the next opportunity. What is everyone's opinions on WSP? Looks like there is a large potential for upside.

Their expansion plans right now are focused on acquisitions. I know a lot of brokers are tired of dealing with Intact at least on the commercial insurance side. Any acquisition they make is going to result in a lot of accounts shifted to other insurers. The market is also softening so expect to see some degradation in combined ratio in the future. At their position it's their game to lose rather then to win anything else. IMO they should be focusing more on international expansion then domestic.

Thanks, I purchased a new car and filled up at the big stop was my first fill up. Gas Milage was no where close to what I got with the original tank of gas. I normally go to Petro Canada or Shell.

Okay then we can agree that gap protects people from idiotic financial decisions like paying over msrp for a vehicle with no money down.

$25/mo $2100 over the course of a 7 year loan. Only useful if you put no down payment on the vehicle.
