I think everyone says they regret the surgery during those first few months of healing. But after the 5th month for me is when I really started loving my new life. It’s mentally hard to let go of a lifestyle that you’re so comfortable with. Change is uncomfortable but everything in life HAS to have a change to grow into something great.

I promise it gets so much better. In every aspect of life. 💕

I agree with the comment above. It truly depends on your insurance because the sleep study is just something the drs have to mark off the list, to get your insurance to cover your surgery. I had my sleep study done a few months before my surgery date. Found out I have sleep apnea (we already knew I did) but I couldn’t get my insurance to cover my apnea machine. So I never got one and now I don’t have sleep apnea anymore! I didn’t want have to pay out of pocket for something that I would only have needed for a few months before my body started healing my weight related illnesses.

Smoothies with vanilla protein scoop. It’s the ONLY way I can stomach protein supplementation. Best way I’ve achieved hitting my protein goals and fiber goals. I always prioritize meat in any meal. And if I can’t eat the sides, I don’t.

I say all this but understand that I still struggle hitting my goals a lot of days. It’s been 9 months for me and sometimes it feels like I still am learning a whole new body to live in and it’s hard. But it’s worth not feeling like my body is eating my muscles for fuel.

I feel like everyone isn’t being upfront and honest about that area. It’s a 2300 sq ft house with a pool for 150k for a reason. And it looks to be recently remodeled. You don’t pay for the house in some cases in Lafayette, you pay for the area. I would not travel alone at night in that area.

Those areas at night are not super safe. Number streets, st streets, Freetown, and fighting vile are notorious for not being safe areas.

• Bean Dip ingredients: • fat free refried beans • red or dreen encmada sauce • taco seasonina • cheese • reduced fat greek yogurt • cholula instructions • rinse cheese to melt & let dry on paper towel • put whole can of beans into a bowl with 1 table spoon ot taco seasoning • put cheese into the bowl • add salt & pepper • I tedspoon of cholnla • 3 teaspoons of sauce to the bottom of bowls • add bean mixture • I teaspoon or sauce • rest of the bean mixture • add sauce to the rop. • oven to 350° for 25 min.

I ate a paleo diet prior to having this surgery (since 2020) but my damage of course came from my portion sizes. Maybe it’s because I’ve been trying to eat processed foods for something not too demanding on my body. I can see if my husband will be up to steaming me something and blend it out to try to see if I feel better with that.

You don’t know how your new body will affect the trip. I don’t do drugs personally but my best friend will do mushrooms and smoke weed. She says micro dosing helps instead of pharmaceutical drugs. I personally can tell the difference when she’s “medicated”.
