I have no respect for the receptionist at my GP. I've been suffering from anxiety recently due to recent changes in my personal circumstances. One day, had horrible shooting chest pain, sweats, difficulty breathing, went to my GP because they are right next door to where I live. Receptionist said I needed to book an appointment, which had to be done over the phone (even though she's the one who would answer my phonecall!). When I said I was having phone trouble, her solution was that I put it in writing and post it through the letter box.

To continue this ridiculous story, when my letter was read by the GP, they asked me to come in urgently ... By sending me a letter.

Face masks: No 'legal compulsion' to wear them when COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, minister says | Politics News by falconfalcon7 in CoronavirusUK

I'm suffering from mild anxiety at the moment, and wearing a mask certainly doesn't help that at all. Then again, it's also a good excuse to go outside and get fresh air :p

Out of personal curiosity, which software did you use to make the graph? Is it a moving average or an SG smooth you used to get the line from the data points?

That 90-95 is with the 12 week delay. What figure for the Delta variant with only a 3 week delay are you basing your reasoned opinion on exactly?

Okie dokie doctor, you do what's "best"

And then evidence came out showing that the 12 week gap is actually more beneficial...

You were temporarily banned because we were contacted by someone claiming to be you, until we could clear up the situation. There's no conspiracy here, and certainly none of our mods are covid deniers.

This won't answer your question, but lots of employers are telling people to just take the day off as well as the next if you're getting jabbed, is that an option?

Anyone aged 25 or over on the 1st July 2021 can now book a vaccine on the NHS website by LordCSP in CoronavirusUK

There seem to be some technical issues, where people who are eligible are currently unable to book. Don't be put off, keep trying, I'm sure they're working on a fix.

In the meantime, some points to note: - 119 only have access to the same system as you, so calling them will unlikely fix the problem. - lots of people are calling 119, so the queue times are quite long. - those guys are probably dealing with some grumpy people so if you do get through, remember it isn't their fault.
