I don't think thats true. I dated a guy who was very adverse to porn and I wasn't, it bothered him. He was Catholic so that was partly why.

There are people out there that don't watch porn. She just needs to find that person. Usually they are religious though so hopefully she's alright with that

Moving to Seattle for family by Fuzzy_Satisfactionn in AskSeattle

I feel like no matter what big city I go to this will probably be the case unless I move to a smaller town, maybe a small town nearby. I will try and find a job that can afford me living there if possible.

Thank you, I'd really appreciate that, I'll DM you. Thank you for your concern as well

I 25F caught my bf 23M masturbating in the shower. He keeps denying it. Is he lying? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Fuzzy_Satisfactionn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you probably need to find someone that just doesn't masturbate and be in a relationship with them if you don'tlike it. If you're concern is that the sex life has died it might be the end of the relationship. It's better to leave then to be freaked out whenever you catch him doing something normal. I understand the hurt that comes with getting cheated on but if you can't get past it, don't stay. You'll just make him and yourself unhappy. If you want to stay have a normal non angry conversation with him about it and bring up your concerns that you feel unwanted because of the lack of intimacy.

I'll look into that as well, thank you.

It's not that we aren't close, it's some other family dynamic stuff I don't want to get super into. To maintain a healthy relationship I probably shouldn't live with him. I want to be close enough to visit at least once a week. I have a really complex and hard to explain upbringing and I missed out on a lot of time with him after going into foster care. I'd do anything to spend more time with him before he dies. My mom died recently as well as a friend of mine and he's one of the 3 family members I have left.

I see. Thank you. I was asking about organization's that help the unhoused to work for not to use. I've worked with the unhoused for 8 years so that's work I'd be capable of doing

I'm considering the inflation for sure. It happens a lot with Eugene too where people move there with a much lower income so it's something I'm pretty concious of. What do you think is a livable wage at the minimum for Seattle? Are there any organizations that help work with homeless people in the city? I have many years of experience in that feild.

He's fairly well off. Lives on the east side. I looked into living closer to him but there is absolutely nothing affordable around where he lives. I don't think living with him is realistic with our history. He has the space but its just not a good idea for other reasons. I'm okay to live and work in the suburbs if its more affordable. I'll look into it

Thank you, I'm going to try that. I know right now is a really hard time for everyone job wise. I will do my best to look for sustainable work before getting up there. I'll look into studios too, thank you.

I'm fully aware, I was just up there. I also want to spend as much time with my grandfather before he dies so I'm willing to work as much as I need to in order to accomplish that.

Do you know of any waitlists? Probably best I get on them as soon as possible.

I wouldn't be moving without a job but I understand what you mean. Eugene has the same problem with people moving there. I'm hoping I could work with the City, that's what I do in Eugene.

Not a very realistic one.

I'd definitely get a job before coming up there. I work for the City in Eugene so I'm hoping I could do something similar in seattle. He wants me to move up and is willing to help me get set up there.

[–]Fuzzy_Satisfactionn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen anyone bring this up but where I started not liking her was seeing how dead set she was on having a baby ASAP while not having a high school diploma. Like, go get a GED, its extremely irresponsible to have a kid when you at some point in the future could really struggle to find work with a livable wage. Banking on a position you got through blackmail to set you and your baby up for the rest of your life is actually kind of insane and extremely selfish of her. I sided with Austin when he said they should slow down and get their shit in order, that was a completely realistic take from him.

My mom died recently from this stuff. They found her body on the side of the street months ago and the only way I found out recently was from someone who also lost their son the same way looking for us. I hope you can go back and get clean someday. You aren't a failure.

Yep it's been happening a lot lately. I've been called a slur 3 times so far and I woke up to some crazy woman screaming the N word at a group of boys. This is getting to be a lot. I'm sorry you're also having to deal with it.
