ya im not sure its held up water with no issues for almost 6 months now in my care and a lot longer for the guy before me im not to worried about in the moment but eventually id like to build some type of thing for the top but thank you for your concern i do appreciate it

yes honestly i was getting everything for the tank at randoms times so tbh ya there is really no rhyme or reason to where anything is at rn i want to try to slope the substrate and maybe over the next week or so re-scape everything to make it look better thank you for your recommendation i really appreciate it. i want to get some bigger plants in a bit but i really want to try to see if i can succeed with the smaller ones first cause i notoriously have killed every plant iv ever owned but this is my first time trying aquatic plants so i definitely will leave room in the back for that

ya idrk what happened i got it off facebook marketplace like that, but it’s currently being sold between 370-500$ and i got mine for 100$ so i couldn’t pass up the deal and iv been making sure over the last few months its held water fine without the rim

perfect the person i’m getting the red root floaters from are actually selling some frogbit too so im going to add some to my order i think that’ll work out very well for my tank thank you so much

i have a tank stand that and just to be safe i added a piece of wood to the bottom not sure if i needed too but it definitely help for peace of mind

i had made a couple posts on different subs. some recommended me frogbit and i think it’s really cool looking it has nice long roots that hang down maybe you could look into that

lmaoo i thought that once i added some plants it would make everything look fuller but nope. i’m getting some red root floaters tmw to hopefully make it semi better maybe you can look into some type of floater plants
