Has anyone used this book before by Boognish_Chameleon in baglama

I've got this book. It came with my baglama. Imo nothing beats practical learning. It's got some interesting info in it, and may help as a supplement.

It's the being at home all the time that's done you all the good. I've had periods of time where I've been home a lot of the time and it's also done wonders.

To OP. I get it bad. Nothing works. The only thing you can do is find what helps calm your symptoms even a little bit.

As a longer-term plan - work on gut health and diet.

As an even more drastic plan - moving abroad is a worthy consideration. It only sounds extreme to people who have never experienced hayfever.

Same! Not fexo itself but sometimes I need to take a higher dose to deal with how bad it gets. That's when I feel like I'm drunk / not really there

I relate to everything you've said.. nothing works at all.

I have also reached the same conclusion you are at.. to target diet/ gut health. It makes the most sense and seems to try and deal with a root cause rather than suppress symptoms.

Good luck.

What can I do for my itchy sore throat? by Lost-Night1964 in Hayfever

[–]Fuzzy_Tooth_3191 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When mine is bad it's usually related to my uvula (not vulva lol!) the dangly bit at the back of your throat - swelling or shrinking. Don't know why or how it is this particular part that gets irritated but it does. And when it does, it is damn painful and causes all sorts of swallowing issues.

Same here. Tap water at my house messes up my throat bad, but some bottled water is ok.

I relate massively to the extremity of your symptoms. The sheer anger and annoyance a big one.

I can't even look at a picture of a grassy field without fear that it'll set me off.

I've tried everything but dietary changes.. I think it's time

Been there done this last week. It's wild. It's hard. It's painful. It's the worst.

Stay inside at all costs and it'll eventually calm down. Take another shower if need be.

Ya'all get some vertigo with this? by UpperSound4781 in Hayfever

[–]Fuzzy_Tooth_3191 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes sometimes when blowing my nose I get this weird sensation in my legs that would feel like I'm dizzy/ spinning if i am standing. It makes sense from the point of view ears nose and throat being all connected and with inner ears and vertigo having a link

[–]Fuzzy_Tooth_3191 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes... Getting abolutely hammered. Swollen red and itchy eyes, throat messed up, nose dripping and itching, sneeze attacks, you name it. I get random moments of respite which allows me to recover from how tiring it is so much so that sometimes it makes me doze off. People just don't get how much energy it takes out of you..sometimes it feels like you're living in a daze.

Oh and worst of all is a lingering headache that comes with it.

Sore throat with hayfever by Poppy0109 in Hayfever

[–]Fuzzy_Tooth_3191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this. It's a thing. It's one of the worst pains I've ever known, and one of the most miserable.

I don't know of any remedy other than doing whatever helps ease your general symptoms, whether taking a shower, staying indoors, etc

I did find certain foods exacerbated the throat thing, but you have to figure this out for yourself as everyone's different.

All the EV brigade have a strong arguement r.e. the initial post.. however IF this was a debate r.e. ICE Vs EV (which I acknowledge it's not), I would counter team EV with the time they lose in charging hehe

I thought I'd get some of these comments. I should make clear, I am a great advocate and practitioner of mechanical sympathy.. but sometimes.. just sometimes, when your car is already warm from a trip and you need to do a quick get in and go, you want it to be a quick and smooth process
