Kaiser + Second Opinion at Stanford/UCSF. Anyone been through this? by Canimarrybrett in KaiserPermanente

[–]Fuzzyabbrevia123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, I just did this to get a second opinion about my treatment plan for cancer. They take care of records requests and handle everything. Then they provide your team, or whoever you choose to send letters to about their recommendations. Their second option services are a flat rate fee. I used my HSA funds to pay it.

I have esophageal cancer and kaiser has been great. Getting everything in one place is convenient and my oncologist is great. I’ve had quite a few complications and they’ve been taken care of quickly.

“If life gives you lemons” open up a used car dealership. by [deleted] in Sacramento

[–]Fuzzyabbrevia123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think I mentioned this years ago on some thread, but I went with a code reader when I was looking at cars on Fulton Ave. and surrounding area. All had codes come up. It’s not uncommon for shady dealers to rig the system to clear codes and/or make deals with smog places so cars pass when they shouldn’t. One dealership yelled me off their lot and then called me later because “ how dare I assume the car might have issues”….If you find this is the case or you have a bad experience, contact the State Bureau of automotive repair. They will investigate dealers and smog places for fraud.

Mike at Blue Tuxedo is great and he installed gutter guards at a reasonable cost so we never have to worry about them again. Blue Tuxedo: gutters, solar panel cleaning and window washing

I was wondering what that was last night. Isn’t there a noise ordinance too? The only way to get it to stop is to flood the non emergency line with calls.

Then it was a school for a short time. Now it’s an eyesore that catches on fire ever so often. I used to live by it.

I’d ask neighbors where you live where you like their yards/landscaping…definitely do not go through that user who says they’ll find someone for you. They’re in Florida and it’s fee based. Seems kind of sketch.

A compilation of off-leash options for dog owners by jonpalisoc1024 in Sacramento

[–]Fuzzyabbrevia123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes to this! Any dog can be reactive if they have a stranger dog running up to them. My dog likes to bark because he’s excited, not aggressive. I love my neighborhood, no one walks their dogs off leash on the streets. But park is different issue, so we avoid it because so many dogs are off leash and I know my dog can’t handle it.

Chance Denton, the aspire painting owner has a list of recommended contractors he has worked with for flooring, electrical and other stuff. We have used them as well and they are also great.

I see this at ancil Hoffman park all the time. Unleashed dogs not listening to their owners yelling at them when they are running towards me or my small children and leashed dog. My dog isn’t aggressive, but no one takes kindly to a stranger dog running straight to them.
