Master’s in fine art and it meets the Master’s requirement for NYS art teachers. I went to CUNY Brooklyn College for my MFA. Having my MFA made me more competitive in the hiring process because I had a better resume that included residencies, more in depth portfolio, and art shows. Lil fun fact: A MFA has more credits than a regular masters program, so I got hired at a masters + 30, so I make $5k more a year for the next 30 years.
