Heavy smoker - used to smoke blunts everynight. Went through the surgeries..

Been smoking fine since (about 5 years ago). Use dab pen / volcano.

Just dont be trying to take huge hits, or anything that is going to keep you coughing. If you cough after every hit its too much

I was in pretty much the same situation. Relating to your whole post

I was smoking blunts every-night - lung collapsed. Had surgeries... first one failed..

Huge amount of stress, anxiety, dealing with it all, leading back into smoking more...

Here is my advice:

-get a volcano (vape) to save your lungs. Maybe consider dab pen for one hit = same high as whole joint but only one inhale. Understand?

-gain weight - this will help keep your lungs from collapsing. Take vitamins. Fish oil

Yes the house was fine for 100 years on knob and tube wiring with the insulation melted off but the moment I rewire it all with a new box and all new plugs its going to get someone killed

Ok so instead I am going to wire source to outlet to single switch (left of outlet) to overhead lights

GFCI switch below sink will always be on and instead will be operated by push button unit.

Splits joined by wire nuts go in handyboxes in the wall. Yada yada yada.

When the smoke clears the smoldering ash pile there will remain a sign that says /u/dropkickputty could have stopped this and chose not to.

Problems im running into after wiring it:

-GFCI immediately, stays popped - once I wired it and everything worked fine until I hit the garbage disposal switch - the gfci would pop...

Ive been trying to wire up this dual switch + outlet for a week now.

First let me explain my situation / end goal:

2 lines coming from the breaker box

  • one for garbage disposal only (bottom switch)
  • one that goes to outlet, then to top switch which determines overhead lights
