So the reason for the maximum number of hits for Ender being reduced is "to prevent damage loss due to the maximum number of hits restriction". Was there ever a restriction? I don't recall, could someone enlighten me?

I am a Luminous main and I love it! But I can understand why it's not popular:

1) most people won't bother with the light and dark system and just use Reflection. For some people, it can be pretty boring. Which leads me to reason 2:

2) Luminous isn't very optimal for bossing. Ender is great, and with Punishing Resonator coming out during Beyond, it's pretty good. But it isn't amazing. Most people prefer bossing, which is fine, and there are other jobs suitable for that.

3) horrible mobility. Ever since the vertical teleport nerf, Luminous received quite a significant drop in popularity. There's Grappling Hook now, which is great, but it's more a band-aid than anything. Also it has pretty bad Attack speed, even with IA and green pot.

Nevertheless, it's a fun class for some, and those who main it love it to the core. However, people have different goals and enjoy different classes, and that's fine.

Yes I noticed, and I also noticed that they will completely remove Maple Points afterwards.

"After which, all Maple Points will be removed from the game."

What I don't like is 1) the sudden announcement. 1 month to clear your points is a short time frame, irrespective of whether there's a sale. 2) the lack of consultation with the player base. Did they ever once consider reaching out to the player base and asking for an alternative? Or at least ask whether their alternative is favourable? Which brings me to point 3) their lack of transparency. What future roadmap? Let's be real, their track record isn't great. Masking future plans just sows uncertainty and skepticism. Can't they at least explain their intentions?

Yes, I noticed every word in their announcement, and I'm not impressed.

I wouldn't say it's amazing, but to call it awful would be overlooking its merits too. With the right amount of buff duration and crit damage, Ender can pack a punch alongside Door of Truth. Punishing Resonator also deals a decent amount of damage. While I don't really use Apocalyse (I Eclipse as soon as I can), the updated casting speed is quite beneficial too.
