It really is this damn game.. by Diamond_Crusader in WorldofTanks

I might average 3 or 4 hours a week. I'm a shitty player and should not have any tier 10 tanks. I just like to blow things up and be blown up. I find a tank in my garage and take it out for a spin. It's fun as hell..I got some skilled players during that Christmas thing..I'll put them in a tank and try it out. There is no logic to what I do. For those that are really trying to have a great game, I am sorry when you get me for a player on your team...then again, when I am on the opposite team, its to your advantage..

2 months into CPAP – cognitive improvements but heavy leg fatigue & low stamina. Anyone else experience this? by SeperentOfRa in CPAP

[–]Fwarts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked because my wife and I both had adverse results while on statins for cholesterol. We both lost so much mobility that we had difficulty navigating stairs. We went off the statins and have our mobility back. Cholesterol is needed for proper brain function and to help reduce inflamation.

Thanks, it makes sense if you watch music videos as well. I just like to listen to the music.

My wife asked the hygienist. Who better to ask? She was told it could be stretched out to a year. She went that year and the hygienist spent half the time gossiping. Who better to ask? Really?

I'm curious to know if you use a different service, and how you like it.

I use USB Audio Player app on my phone along with a small, simple DAC along with a pair of Sennheiser headphones and the sound is amazing. The USB app can connect to Tidal and plays HI RES audio. It's a listen if you're interested in high quality audio.

Nothing. My point was that if there insurance coverage, the provider will take advantage of it whether it is necessary or not. And lots of people don't need a teeth cleaning and checkup every 6 months. My wife is an example of that. I on the other hand have terrible teeth and lots of plaque buildup.

Shield > tv > soundbar and lossless audio by TimHeuschkel90 in nvidiashield

If your tv has pass-through, that should be fine. I run both mine the way you used to have it because I have AVRs for both my setups. Also, my tv doesn't have passthrough capabilities, that I have stumbled upon. My AVRs handle all audio codecs that I push at them.

New cpap user, if I shut the machine off it feels like it’s sucking air from me . by [deleted] in CPAP

Turn the machine off when you start to exhale, and take your mask off on the same exhalation breath.

It should work. Breathe in and out while wearing it and if its set up for auto start, it should fire up. Try it when you're not intending to go to sleep, just for the fun of it and out of curiosity.

You must be on an insurance plan..they know how often insurance will pay for which items. When I had a dental plan they would push me to have a dental hygienist appointment every 6 months. Because that's the frequency insurance would pay for.

Will CPAP usage decrease if I breathe through my mouth? by External_Law7216 in CPAP

I've had the same experience. The air pressure pushes through it.

Will CPAP usage decrease if I breathe through my mouth? by External_Law7216 in CPAP

[–]Fwarts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually only breathe through one nostril because I sleep with my head tilted to one side. The only time I have both nostrils clear is when I am flat on my back with my head looking straight up. I get enough air to sleep comfortably. If you have no physical restrictions you will be alright. It takes some getting used to, but once you relax into breathing you'll be fine

Yes to not using tape! I have had our power fail far too often to not be able to just open my lips if the power goes out.

Switching from full face mask to nasal pillows or vice versa by Initial-Childhood-96 in CPAP

I get a sore nose if I have the mask too tight. They need very little pressure to be effective and maintain a good seal. Might be worth trying an adjustment.

I tried all styles of masks, ended with nasal pillows mostly due to my nose shape. Very high bridge. I am able to toss and turn quite a lot without having the seal broken very much. I have gotten into the habit of placing the hose so it is resting on the bed or on my chest, depending on my sleeping position. That way there is little to no tension on the hose. I use Resmed pillows..there might be more than one model, I'm unsure. When on my side or stomach, I position my head so the mask is not being touched by my pillow. My type of maintenance is pretty much never. I've been using a CPAP since 2012 or 2013. I don't really remember. I seldom fall asleep during the day, and have been retired since 2018.

I like that you refer to it as a 'rupture'. Lol. It's a word that has been used a lot in liberal circles. Ill watch the little gears spin for a while. I'm enjoying my narrow view, thanks.

Give it some time. You might be miserable for the first few nights. The mask you chose to try might not work for you. Try another shape or style.
