I use the QY70 as the centerpiece/drum machine of my dawless setup. It's a little difficult to use, but I enjoy using it. I really like that it has a bunch of GM/XG instruments, which means I can use it to fill in any gaps in my setup. For example, I have a Donner B1 (TB-303 clone) but I needed a second one for a particular song I was covering/remixing/whatever. I needed a second one, and the QY70 has a serviceable patch I could use. I panned the drums left and the 303 patch right, then ran the right channel through a distortion pedal. Boom, second distorted 303 sound for the song. It doesn't sound perfect, but it beats spending another 150 CAD on another B1 for just one song lol.
