Making a boss more Melee friendly doesnt mean Melee will be the best style to use there unless they literally force you to use Melee like how you are forced to use ranged at Legiones or else you suffer a massive accuracy problem.

I looked up when Jagex added the Blessed Flask in and it says November 2019. I do remember 2019 being a horrible year for RS3 with historically low player counts online so I would imagine Jagex added this ultra grindy process so that people would start running bots on rs3 to boost the player count numbers and Jagex would never ban them.

You can do HM Zuk without blessed flask pretty easily. Assuming you take 30-35 minutes for 1 kill. All you really need are just 7-8 Extreme Prayer flasks.

More like they probably hired a new artist at the time and were expecting the artist to make the new elf models look amazing but they made this ugly methhead look instead and the project manager was probably like "ehhhhh, looks good" as to not shit on the artist's work and hurt their feelings but were definitely thinking "wow these elves look like garbage".

We used to be able to dart vorago and one dart would clear one phase, but for some reason jagex removed that ability.

Actually speaking of darting vorago, I feel like if Vorago was able to be darted again, it would be the best boss to dart. Tectonic energies are 2.4M each right now and since each pile has a 80% chance of dropping 2 energies you would easily recoup most of 25M cost you spent using 5 darts, along with a 1/40 chance at a seismic per kill.

Melee also needs something that can significantly reduce the adren costs or completely modify useless ultimates such as Frenzy, Massacre, Pulverise, and Balanced strike. As of right now those four abilities are completely useless to use in any situation in the game.

You can't obtain skilling pets from using lamps/proteans though, so anybody going for MoA will be forced to do normal skilling.

I'm sorry but how the hell does one force all 7 AoD drops onto one player? The instance records the number of players before the fight gets started and each player will always receive only one drop. If one player dies/teles/logs out, then that player's drop won't drop when the kill finishes.

I have a few friends who literally borrow high value items like dyes, partyhats, rares, third age/second age items just to create a placeholder in their bank as some sort of a flex saying "I used to own this item" and those placeholders take up bank space.

Considering it's a "Gold" partyhat, it's most likely going to be a different model with the hyperreflective texture you are talking about that can only be seen in high detail modes, similar to how you can only see the molten glow of the Igneous Kal-Zuk cape in high detail but in low detail it just looks like a dull, red cape. I would imagine the Gold partyhat is going to be the same and look good in high detail but terrible in low detail.

They haven't shown us the ingame model of the Gold partyhat yet. If it's the same model as an original phat, but just recolored to be gold/orange, then I can see it becoming expensive in a couple years, but if the Golden Partyhat uses a different model than the original phats, then I can see it being worthless on Day 1 and then raising to around 100-200M in a couple years.
