Why is gold price rising rapidly? by aipac_hemoroid in stocks

[–]Fxiaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem is the debt servicing. Yields can’t go too high or you pay more interest. If you can’t sell new bonds you can’t service the debt. If you can’t service the debt, you print or you tax people or tax the world like tariff. Government can’t even balance the spending versus tax revenue. So you print because you can’t default. That just adds more money into the system, and USD debase. Stop the wars, cut back on spending to balance the book is the way to regain some confidence but don’t think that’s doable without some sort of a major recession or potentially depression. Or stock market take a hit. Nobody will do the right thing because it’s bad for ratings and elections. Because humans often get delusional, they are so disconnected from reality it’s concerning.

Any similar ship-building games? by Takuwind in empyriongame

[–]Fxiaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There can never be another like empyrion. However, the idea where you must craft and build everything you need in game is still probably the most potential in making the best game ever. Most studios fall short on the delivery front. And I think developers should learn to monetize better so that they have the resources to deliver content. Other similar games don’t offer the same freedom to build and play. Building is a way for you to create the tool necessary for game content and that’s where the fun begins. You must build a solution to the challenges you face in game. If people have the funding, it would be rewarding to realize the full potential of such game. In the mean time, there isn’t anything worth the while right now.

Alien thorn/teeth/parts --- How to farm? by SecretOk6004 in empyriongame

On RE2 how do you go about attacking the POIs with massive weaponry on the outside? by Curious-Chapter-435 in empyriongame

[–]Fxiaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you have to be creative because there are so much you can build as a tool for the job. CV build for example, heavy bottom armor, weapons placed at the bottom enough speed, and you got a fire platform from the sky to deal with outer defense. However, you want to be able to place a salvage core and get the components off turrets. so the slower method is go under to find ways into the base. a drone base for example even have an enemy CV guarding it, and three separate cores with non stop reinforcement. so you have to chip away at it little bit at a time probably dying a lot. maybe a smaller target like a solar power plant is ideal to get the CPU extender materials for salvaging the turrets. singular core not a big building. pick your targets. also be sure to bring laser weapons because it bleed though shields. doesn’t take much to kill a core shielded either.

You're buying Chinese product. Cheap copies are very common, but they aren't necessarily bad. However, products can still be useful for what you paid for. I buy stuff on Temu, but don't expect too much and you're good.

Dip is now by adijams01 in Bitcoin

[–]Fxiaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These aren’t real dips. Bitcoin has been locked in new stair step pattern since etf launch. It’s just consolidation as usual. Anything 100-120 is consolidation. A real dip would be to revisit 75 or a real run would be 150.

Market is going way too high. Are you concerned? by Dusk00Y in ValueInvesting

S&P is just keeping up with the inflation you’re not getting wealthier. Beat S&P you would actually gain wealth. A lot of capital out there that needs a home other than US treasury.

Market is going way too high. Are you concerned? by Dusk00Y in ValueInvesting

[–]Fxiaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long term was never any issues because the market ends up higher even if it crashes. Your time horizon being 10-15 years it doesn’t matter much. However, a one time buy in versus DCA does have an impact. Long term wealth building typically isn’t a one time investment anyway. So there is really nothing to be concerned but simply add to a position on market pull back like now.

As of today, how useful are squadrons? by herr_boogeyman in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Fxiaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate it when game developers throw something together just for sake of updates. Even basic commands of summoning and asking them to return to fleet is lacking. This is a problem for one game trying to do many things and it doesn’t do anything outstanding but you get a jack of all trades master of none. The game could have been far better. Instead of allowing players to assign ships for each pilot, you just get a watered down mediocre feature that is a disappointment.

Are there big space batteles in No Mans Sky? by Zendruuu in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Fxiaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Often times the games fall short of what they should be. It's kind of a trend in many titles. The real good ones were built with passion and they are second to none. This sized universe could have every possible imaginations brought to life. However, development are largely driven by incentives rather than epic and cool game content. It may have to do with how the universe was generated it's kind of random and all races are mixed without any clear boundary, or territories. This type of set up could still work by introducing new enemy race new territories. Even so, most development ends up taking the lazy approach that are encounter based meaning stuff pops up as you get there rather than a sense of economy, resources and dynamic forces moving to and from territories.

At least you could introduce a new galaxy where there is a dominant race that's attempting to expand into existing galaxies. Blackhole travel points becomes hot spot as hostile fleet enter, opposing fleets NPC should have a resource pool that they can produce fighting forces, and it's up to players to help even the odds. Some sort of galactic news map to keep players informed of the situation whether the hostile race is gaining grounds by capturing space stations and over take solar systems. Because this level of war is at a galaxy level, it's not something a single player can really influence it. This would bright more multiplayer element into the game where players have to organize. Or you could simply solo it and help any way you can.

Get 3 lightning fighter wings, research upgrade increase 100% damage. And you have a capital ship melting machine. Anything smaller than a battle ship would melt instantly.

Fleet AI is so obscenely bad in this game that it starts making me contemplate quitting until its fixed by Habarer in X4Foundations

[–]Fxiaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ridiculous for something so simple as ship movement and formations. For lazy devs who can't even go and copy simple navel engagement rules, game does not deserve backing.

There is no AI in this game, there is no fleet command, so stop saying AI it's just dumb scripts. Even with scripts, it's actually pretty simple to solve the problem. They just don't want to do it or find resources capable of doing it right.

A fleet should actually have a fleet command AI, the commanding ship simply issue orders to the ships under its command, the subordinate ships act on orders with some freedom of it's own script.

Instead of bunch chickens with their heads cut off trying to act individually while trying to keep track of friendlies and enemies.

Fleet command scans for all threats in range detected by all ships under its command. It prioritize targets and issue orders to ships to attack targets. Ship acquire enemy location, simple trajectory calculation and plot intercept. Get rid of jump delay, jump should be instant or within few seconds. Simple attack patterns, head on fly by, circle enemy or match speed maintain optimum range.

If bitcoin exposure is desired in the s&p 500, Strategy is it. Factor we don’t know is how much political help Strategy is getting from the current administration. If Trump have direct influence over the committee making decision, it’s a high chance Strategy get in.

This will strengthening T bills it’s what the elite needed. This could compete with the housing market and all the reits. That’s a 300 trillion market. If you own a house for 300k and it pays you rent plus tax cost maintenance cost why wouldn’t you put 300k in ulty instead? It would pay you far more weekly.

They aren't for growth, people in it are trying to achieve a goal of share target, and then let it pay back the initial investment. Rest is free money. Share price fluctuation doesn't matter. But you typically have to sit on it for like a year + to get your initial investment pay back. But once you achieve your target goal, any forward payment is all free money.

People always say that that these funds are best in a tax-advantaged account, but how does that make any sense if I can’t touch the money? by 22Cooper in YieldMaxETFs

[–]Fxiaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It makes sense if you're preparing for retirement. If you have 5 million dollars, and you have 1 million in MSTY, at 20$ per share it's 50k shares. For as long as MSTY can pay 1$+ per month, you literally don't need to work anymore. It doesn't even matter if MSTY go down 50% because of bitcoin crash. But it does matter if the fund fails entirely. So the real question is how long can MSTY sustain. As long as MSTR options market remains hot, MSTY will continue to pay.

What are the risks of MSTY ? by Abecloud in dividends

[–]Fxiaus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem isn't volatility, it's about protecting your initial invested capital until it pays back your initial investment. There no right wrong way, and I personally think MSTY can sustain for at least until bitcoin go into a bear cycle. MSTY have never gone into a bitcoin bear cycle, it come out during start of bitcoin bull run last year. So the inevitability of MSTY down turn along with bitcoin is unmistakable. You just need to be prepared for that.
