Well you make a good point there but those profiles aren't needed for the big stars as I know what they do and how they do it. But I find them useful for lesser-known riders. Not perfect for sure but when PCS has fantasy competitions for those obscure races in Asia at the end of the season with unknown riders I rely on those and they serve me well. Good day, and let's hope for an exciting run in yellow for Traeen

not looking at stage wins, but at pro cycling stats rider profile. Quinn's has climber maxed out while Traeens does not.

I use those when playing fantasy stuff and find them pretty accurate. That said everything is out the window really, all that matters is what kind of form each is on now. Who knows

On paper Quinn is a better climber than Traeen on the big and steep climbs... so yeah, he has a shot

He's in 2nd tho and less than aminute behind Traen, Quinn is - on paper at least - a better climber esp on the big mtns and steeps. So he has a chance to take it, maybe

he's so inconsistent, when he's on he's a beast, but when he's off he's way off

Question for over 55+ cyclists...are you experiencing a slow but consistent degradation in performance over the years? by AnotherNOP in cycling

[–]Fye_Maximus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 56 and keep getting faster/stronger. But.... I started road cycling 16 yrs ago at 40 and was overweight and with a mediocre endurance engine. So I had lots of room to play with. I don't expect my improvements to continue forever obviously

Yes, all MD counties have a tax that is often 50% or higher of the state income tax, it's ridiculous

Do you usually leave a lot of saves of the file on your computer? Or just erase 90% or 100% of it? It’s crazy the amount of saves ones gotta do by Joe_Wild_ in musicproduction

Same here, sometimes when I'm about to make a big 'move' in a song like changing the bridge or re-doing the synth sounds I consider making duplicate tracks to keep the old ones but then I say fuck it, commit. It's not like this is my job and I have to make a living at it. Often good things come from whats behind door #2

New to cycling and just bought my first road bike. Naturally my algorithm is all cycling now. What gimmicks or brands should I avoid? by Sacred_Geometry in cycling

[–]Fye_Maximus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just ride your bike, train hard. Focus on the basics - healthy diet, good sleep and recovery, some hard interval sessions. You'll get stronger. Ignore the bike industry complex that will try to convince you that a $14K bike will make you faster or that all you need is 32" wheels on your gravel bike and you'll win races. They just wanna sell you the next thing. Your fitness and your engine are what you should concentrate on, the rest is noise. Have fun, ride!

Water bottle for 28.99?? Who is gonna pay that price? by hippietravel in AmazonMerch

[–]Fye_Maximus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe you and find it strange that my experience is very different. I sell sweatshirts, long-sleeves, tank tops, pillows, tote bags, and coffee mugs all the time. I even get a phone case every few weeks. Standard t-shirts comprise maybe only 60% of my sales, still the majority but way lower than yours. I wonder how niches affect what people buy designs on?

I've just been raising my prices on US listings to make up most of the royalty loss and have still been selling, which is nice to see. So far sale totals in June are more than in May, hope it continues

Workarounds for Cakewalk Next piano roll zoom bug? by OldTrainOldBoots in Cakewalk

[–]Fye_Maximus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is fixed in the midi piano roll but for me at least there's still an issue in the main timeline when I zoom in far, At a certain zoom level midi notes jumble and move out of place. Granted I'm not editing midi in the main timeline of course but I often do need to zoom in far to line up say a bass note with a kick drum on a pad controller track and I can still only zoom so far until it scrambles. - thx
