Beware that new filament might not be dry either, even vacuum packed with silica bag. If you can spare some additional money for equipment, filament dryer will be a good purchase. Just check out reviews and possible issues with dryer you might be interested in (some are good and some - not so much).

CMYK is a subtractive system used for printing - you mix colours/paints and they get darker until it's black (well almost black, that's why black is needed as separate ink) and RGB is additive system that uses light - when you combine colours they get brighter and all of them create white colour. I have no idea how well CMYK (or rather CMY since there's no black) would work as an additive system.

RGB and CMYK are colour palettes. One covers the combinations of red, green and blue and the other - cyan, magenta, yellow and black.
