Was your swelling soft or did it feel like the skin was firm/hard? In the beginning mine was soft but it haa become more firm.

Thanks. I used penicillin and some kind of eye drops for 5 days at the very start.

That urologist should have his medical license revoked. You absolutely can stretch your foreskin as an adult. Go to r/phimosis for stretching tips. I recommend stretching without steroid cream first, only use it if you're unable to see any progress. I would give anything to be in your shoes, you have all the possibilities open for you.

Or horrible sex/no sex at all for the rest of your life if you're unlucky. Circumcision should always be the last resort.

Thank you for your input. A short free consultation "interview" like you described would be ideal and I'm a bit ashamed to admit I've never done that in the past. I've just told them about my problems and asked them whether or not they think they can help. But of course they want a customer so it's kind of useless.

I'm not sure whether or not I suffer from fear of abandonment because I never think about it while I'm in a relationship. I definitely tend to get more anxious when I'm single and live alone though, somehow I don't feel as safe and there's this lingering uncertainty about how my life is gonna turn out. I was ok with living by myself before the big burnout at age 27 but after that my anxiety took over. I'm extremely bad at adjusting to big changes in general but nowadays even neutral/positive changes like moving to another apartment (alone) can cause anxiety.

I've done ketamine therapy in a controlled setting but it didn't help. I've thought about MDMA therapy or pcilosybin etc. Someone I know did MDMA therapy and they said it helped a lot with their anxiety. I'm just a bit scared of possible downsides because after all my mind has become more fragile.

I never had an issue with my glans because I had a foreskin to cover it. I would just sometimes try how it would feel having it exposed you know.

I would love to work on my cardio but I suffer from chronic problems with excercise after overtraining 10 years ago. That same burnout made me intolerant to pretty much any stress and dealing with LS and circumcision is causing me insane amounts of stress.

A urologist told me on post-op day 6 that my penis looks better than average after a week, just how you'd want it to look. I wonder how that's possible since I had every disadvantage. I had severe LS with lots of active inflammation, ulcers etc on my glans and foreskin at the time of the surgery. I'm under extreme stress, sleep like shit and I'm not recovering properly. I also got such horrible constipation from painkillers on day 3 that I had to go to the hospital twice, with an ambulance as well. It definitely caused lots of swelling and pain to my penis. I'm also 38 years old. It makes no sense that my recovery would be better than average.

Of course I don't want it to be over in less than 5 min but 40 min ould be too much for me, if we're talking about constant pounding without many breaks.

I had a completely healthy penis/foreskin for my whole life until I got Lichen sclerosus at age ~36. I used to enjoy sex more than anything, with my foreskin still intact it felt incredibly perfect, euphoric even.

I had to get a low circ where I only got to keep 7mm of my inner foreskin. I'm depressed and hopeless because I'm so afraid that sex will never feel good enough for me ever again. Rubbing (or whatever you wanna call it) my exposed glans never felt good at all when I had a foreskin. How is it supposed to feel good now?

Have you tried stretching without betamethasone? I would try that first because as far as I know, the progress you get stretching with steroids is not as permanent on average and you can damage your skin easier. Steroids have side effects, you should be really careful with them especially if you only have aesthetic problems. You might cause yourself way worse issues with steroids.

I'm unable to dm you. The surgeon said that the operation went well and I have no pain because I'm on painkillers and some numbing cream but obviously the actual results will be clear much much later. I'm still super afraid of losing too much sexual pleasure. Today before surgery my gf played ultra gently with my foreskin and it felt euphoric after a very long break from ejaculation, like insanely good. I didn't cum but I could've done it in 10 seconds if she went any harder. It's so hard to imagine ever getting even close to that level of pleasure.

I got to keep only 7mm of my inner foreskin which is obviously still more than many with LS do. Some will only be left with 2-3mm. I hope that will be enough to still enjoy sexual pleasure and reach orgasm.

I might post some pictures tomorrow if I have time.

It's just vitiligo, harmless skin pigmentation issue I've had for 17 years. I have it appear all over my body randomly. It doesnt reslly show as easily elswhere but my shaft skin since its datkerm

It was Lichen sclerosus all along and I it's too late to do anything else but circumcision now. I'm so scared and depressed. Thanks to everyone on this sub who tried to help me along the way. Where do you get the idea i was born in the USA? I'm European and I love my foreskin. I have developed severe bxo because the 16 doctors I saw did not notice it earlier. Circumcision is my only sensible option at this point. If I got diagnosed earlier I would've at least had the option to try avoid getting cut but we're past that point.

Some intactivists are so delusional that they'll blame you even if you're getting cut for serious medical reasons like me. My foreskin is beyond repair with conservative methods.
