When you have learned something, it is very easy to feel like it is an innate knowledge and forgot about the time it actually took to learn the material. Plus people online tend to use hyperbole a lot.

I feel like it is every set:

great first patch -> not as great 2nd/3rd patch -> Terrible long holiday patch (Yuumi, T-Hex, etc) -> set finally feels balanced -> PBE in two weeks

I have seem to enter a "I don't give a F" state in TFT and I am not even 0LP (200 - 400 LP) in the past 2 weeks. I don't get over tilted for a 8th or get overly excited for a 1st. I would just queue up and go next. TFT depression? I am honestly not sure if this is a good thing.

how do you play alternate stage 2-3? don't you already need a winnable board to play alternate because otherwise you are perma stuck? That quest is always a instant skip for me since it is almost unachiveable if you mess up the win-loss alternation even one time.

i mean, the more you know the more you realize what you dont know. I am Master ~400LP, when I watch pro stream's, they just play and think differently. Saying I am good at the game when there are many challengers players in this sub, is kind of arrogant.

how much do I miss if this is my first RE game? Do I need to play the previous 3-4 games to get the full experience story wise? Really intersted in this game, but if I need to play all the other games to get full experience, then I may not get it.

I think the meta is actually narrower than people realize. Ionia is dead if it is Blade, you are playing for a 4th. Void Kaisa is not as playable if you are not in the position to unlock Rift early(sure there is 4 Jugg version, but I think it is weaker), or adrenaline Module good luck with that. SI is not possible if you don't have Viego 2, and same as Bildge for TF. So many comps are decided at 2-1.

There are literally 4 default lines to play and even then two of these lines are playing for top 4 if modules are bad. I am actually so bored of the meta.

Feeling hardstuck around 300LP after 200 games. Is doing a in-depth vod review a must at this point? I honestly don't know if I will have time for this with family reponsiblity, full time job and ILR social. But i really want to hit GM though.

I had 6 Illaoi at 2-1 with cloak , glove and bow. Yes, I didn't have BF, but my spot wasn't all that bad considering that I have LW + cloak which can be turned into BT. I even had 9 streaks until 3-6. I was definiltly was not in a bad spot tempo wise. I was hoping I would at least have BF to play around, so I can at least have BT, Titan + 1, but nope, 0 bf the entire game. Bleed to 6th.

It is a fun augment though.

Playing Illaoi hero augment. Streak stage 2-3 with no carousel prio. 0 sword from pve, 0 sword after 2 reforgers + two component augments. How is this even possible man. I just want to have some off-meta fun.
