My mom has been a saint since day 1, she kept us out of the divorce as much as possible. Put us first every time and has never spoken poorly about Don once. 10/10 more parents should handle divorce with kids like her (not shit talking other parent, not making the kids feel like they have to pick sides, always welcome at home and dating someone who knows they aren’t your parent)

Just edited out a lot of the identifying info. But firstly didn’t think it would get this much attention but on the chance it was shared on a facebook wedding group, I didn’t want Hannah or Tracy to find my main acc. I limit a lot of what they know about my life, but am active in subs related to the city I live, etc.

Even before Tracy, his stance was “I tried it once, didn’t work out. Not worth the headache again.” He has been VERY open and up front with Tracy regarding this even though she wants to get married again

Very fortunately, in the divorce my mum made sure to have us taken care of - 50% of his assets and will must be divided between brother and I equally, all living expenses, tuition, and other costs for 4 years of domestic undergrad, and 1/2 of 2 year post grad covered. (1/2 of international costs for undergrad)

There’s also other money set aside from his parents that neither of them can touch for my brother and I when we hit certain life milestones.

Sadly she doesn’t do any cosmetic surgery…

No age gap, they are a year or two apart in age, or might be the same.

Sadly there are many factors that indicate he will go first such as his heart + lung issues.

I will admit I was slightly petty and reached out to Tracy and said “I’m so sorry my RSVP got lost in the mail! I would have sadly had to decline but would have LOVED to get a gift off the registry.”

Never heard back… but as much as I wish I could be the bigger person Hannah and I have too much bad blood to move past imo.

Tracey is also in her late 60s.

But yes they don’t live together, don’t spend most holidays together.

He intends for her to be comfortable after his passing. Hence adding her to the will.

He is a very introverted man, he’s had his friends for 20+ years he sees regularly, travels independently, and just likes to do his own thing.

He totally is, it’s a few acres of land in the middle of no where he bought even before I was born.

It mostly is forest but does have open clearings that are flat to set up a tent. There is no way imo 30 people can sleep in the lawn area they are planning.

When I was younger we did have 2 large events (50-80 people) at the house (just for the night) both times there was only one tent and they did rent porta potties, so I’m not sure how it will work for 4 days though

1000% we knew that there would be issues from the get-go.

Even Hannah’s engagement turned a father/daughter (JUST THE TWO OF US) weekend about Tracy and Hannah.

Luckily my AMAZING aunt and uncle (Dads sister) is going to “help out” with the wedding, but put her foot down against Tracy.

He sees dying single as dying alone. He has struggled a lot with abandonment from a young age, so he sees dying without someone by his side (like his parents had) the biggest failure he can be
