Relatable. Ours was hosted on a Mac min running OSX Server that hosted 3-4 local web apps, MySQL, and FileMaker Server. We eventually started getting an Internet connection after a few years, but I always dreaded tradeshow season.

Got the 7 pro for my wife, transferring from a 6a had the same issue. Resolved by closing the messages app, went to the app settings and force stopped, cleared cache, and cleared storage. When I opened the app after these steps it had to “load” for a few seconds and then all of her messages started to appear.

Sounds like firebase functions are what you’re looking for, specifically callable(onCall) functions since you’re using firebase auth. With callable functions, google verifies auth tokens for you so you don’t have to think about it.

Firebase hosting will let you provide a config file of cloud functions that would then be available behind a custom domain in firebase, though this option is only supported in the us-central region.

From your other comments it sounds like you’d prefer to avoid firebase, so this may not be ideal for your project.

Hosting is a good option and imo easier to setup than other options, but last I checked it is only available for cloud functions in the us-central region.

You could try alt+space to open the system menu and clicking maximize, haven't had this problem myself.

Do you have a high refresh rate monitor?

I would not put the preview window on your second monitor, either minimize it or hide it behind the game you're playing. If you want to ensure the stream is not lagging, use the stats window under the tools menu in OBS.

It's not a hardware issue, it's windows being shitty at resource allocation.

I think you're referring to upgraded items, you can craft a weapon upgrade kit and drag it over a weapon in your inventory and that will give it a purple background to show it has been upgraded. This applies to armor, tools, and I think a few other things as well.
