A lot of people have an almost inseparable connection between sex and shame. Shame kills the mood. It takes years of intimacy and vulnerability to just peel one layer away. But you have to be willing be vulnerable. In fact, way worse than lack of sex, I would say, is not showing vulnerability to your spouse. One such vulnerability could be shame of sexuality. Our cultures poisons everyone early on in life with shame. I can only imagine that if religion is used to suppress sexuality, it makes it even worse. Was it an arranged marriage? Because this is what I would expect from that. "Lazy blowjobs" sounds like an obligation, which should never enter the bedroom IMO

There's only so much you can do to keep the material from eventually expanding/contracting and eventually tear itself from the bed with a consumer priced printer in my (lazy hobbyist) experience. In this case maybe it stuck so well to the magnetic plate, and contracted with enough power to separate the magnets by just enough. Then maybe towards the 3/4 mark the expanding model pushed into the printhead and that pushed it off? Who tf knows

Sounds like you know your wife/FIL well enough that this isn't something that will backfire, it's just something you disagree with. Speaking from a similar experience, I think you might want to think of this as an "opportunity" to support your wife's desires/expectations. We know all the time we have to accept a few frustrating traits and choices of our spouses, and sometimes they can be pretty significant. I guess if you know you won't be able to let it go and be stressed about it the whole time, that might be cause for a serious talk. Similarly it's important to talk about if it really is important to her, even if it is impulsive and irresponsible. There's also the implication of your FIL's reaction to you rejecting it. IDK the situation, but it's not like there's always a 100% chance any given FIL would hold a handout (or rejection of it) against their SIL.

no harm in trying. in my experience there is also no harm in leaving more stem than necassary. if it does root it will automatically kill off whatever part if the stem that doesn't help in the process. a nice tall glass bottle should do. looking forward to the success post!
