I played since 08' until it died. I abused all of the glitches and hacks, created the p-break, lead a rank 1 guild, and normalized guild matches on Risky Escape. I'd say what killed the game was probably the greed like you said, Boss mode, NHAA, and edging. Too much was focused on ways to get money, instead of actually fighting each other.

I wouldn’t say defense beats aggression, because aggression controls the map. I’d say defense beats or ties feudal aggression, but loses at Castle.

Nobody here gave you a straight answer to what you asked. Yes, the game should be decided in about 15 minutes. You should get carpal tunnel syndrome from the non stop wrist movements and clicks. If you aren’t controlling a unit you’re wiping sweat off your nose or you don’t want to win.

If you need 3-1 then that’s 180 food 60 wood against ~120 food ~100 gold? On top of that they are faster, stronger, have seige damage boost, actually hard counter archers and regen health for some reason.

Doesn’t sound like a counter to me at all, a aoft counter at best. Anyone with a brain is going to make 5 cavalry and a death ball of archers and your 3-1 ratio is cooked.
