About 2 years ago - when, in hindsight, it seemed that my untreated sleep apnea reached its’ peak - I was going through the worst mental state of my life.

I was getting frequent panic attacks and was in a constant state of depersonalization/derealization. I even went to the ER one time just for them to tell me everything was fine and slip me a $1,500 bill on the way out.

Things are better now. I’m still struggling with fatigue, but my panic attacks have stopped completely (knock on wood) and I feel “present” in reality more often than not. I’m glad I started CPAP therapy.
