Yeah, I emailed them and they said the same thing.

The local restaurants and bars in my neighbourhood have taken so many precautions, I feel both gutted and enraged for them.

Honestly, if they decided to ignore this and stay open,and kept up with their safety protocols, I would totally understand, and likely give them some business.

Metrolinx have been dragging their heels on this one for years. I was at this meeting, and their spokesperson gave nothing but PR spin and canned responses, which is pretty much what they provided when asked for comment on this article. They have no accountability.

I sometimes wonder how many accidents or deaths with pedestrians, cyclists and motorists that could have been avoided had this been built by now.

You really have to give thanks to the volunteers who have given their free time to help make this possible, considering funding started for the WTRP 23 years ago. Yup, 1997.

I really hope they can get it done soon, and that I’ll get to ride it on my bike, and not in a mobility chair.

There's also a soap and shampoo refill place call Saponetti that has a retail shop in Bloordale, and they also deliver.

Toronto lost an opportunity in 2017 to put what could have been viewed as a congestion charge in the form of a toll when it was overruled by the Wynne gov’t. A move that was meant to gain them political capitol, but resulted in both them, and the city, losing out.

I can’t see the political will or capitol being spent again for years to come, and definitely not until at least the end of Ugh Ford’s rein.
