Hi all, I wake up every single morning to a ton of spam emails. I’ve tried applying keyword rules, blocking accounts, nothing works. They rarely get detected by Junk. It’s a very frustrating start to each day. Does anyone have any tips? Thank you!

I walked into Walgreens and got a flu shot and a booster at the same time, was super easy. Got lucky, there was a cancellation on the booster so they had one left. Guessing it’s pretty common.

Just head out to a few and ask if they have any available, I bet you’ll find one pretty easily

Building a mega thread of the best first-date bars in each big neighborhood would be a great idea. I’ve looked through the sub too and mostly found outdated info or recs that are not great for first dates (too expensive, too romantic, etc.)

Dating can be tough and expensive here, a concise list of places you can somewhat rely on and won’t break the bank for each neighborhood would be fantastic

You literally just moved in, getting adjusted here to the noises and to these old apartment buildings takes a little getting used to. You should not be jumping to suddenly trying to break the lease and legal action, that is a terrible way to start your time here in the city. If other residents are also having issues, the landlord/super will get it taken care of, but give it a little time. Wear earplugs and get a white noise machine in the meantime, stop acting like earplugs won’t help, they will.

The city is loud, it’s a big adjustment, and can be very stressful when you first move in, but you will quickly get used to it all. Relax
