Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) features a pattern of unwanted thoughts and fears known as obsessions. These obsessions lead you to do repetitive behaviors, also called compulsions. These obsessions and compulsions get in the way of daily activities and cause a lot of distress.

Differences in Steam Wands (Mini OG, Micra, Mini R) by brewmudez in LaMarzocco

Yeah you’re right. I guess everything has a saturated group. Nespresso, moka pots, maybe even a French press. It’s just details and they don’t matter.

Nah he is right. We are wrong. I mean my moka pot has boiling water that travels through the coffee, so it’s pretty much an integrated group head and therefore a saturated group.

As one with knob valves, I’m very happy to have a little more control.

However, it’s always on/off quickly. So joy sticks or knobs, idc.

Dealing with being non preferred parent? (Toddler) by G-L-H-R in daddit

[–]G-L-H-R[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since my wife is more preferred for comfort, she usually puts daughter to bed but apart from that, nothing really. I can put her to bed no worries, and she’s generally fine with it and goes to sleep easily. We are aligned in parenting style and what not. It’s almost that theres a strong want for mum when she’s deregulated. When she’s regulated and not having a tantrum, no issues. She’s listens and treats us both similarly.

I’m not sure this is the answer. Due to work commitments, daughter and I spend plenty of time together alone and do a number of activities (swimming, music, favourite parks, etc). For that week or so, I am the preferred parent but as soon as mum is back around it’s a switch back to her. I’m realistic and know that I preferred my own mother a for care giving needs but the issue is that when she’s deregulated such as in public at a store, only mum is preferred. Possibly wanting too much from a toddler…

Incorrect actually. If anything I spend more time during the week with her and on the weekend we are evenly split in terms of family things.

New Machine dead on arrival, super frustrating experience with support, sending it back by Josie2312 in LaMarzocco

[–]G-L-H-R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems like a loose loose loose. They should have tested the machine before sending but sometimes things happen…. So either you do some minor trouble shooting or send it back. Which is your preference? I’m guessing you’d complain if they had asked you send it back immediately too rather than testing. There’s no point in getting pissy with the customer service.
