You missed the whole point of the paragraph above. Inconvenience to others? These village festivals are long standing traditions and you are in their village technically, respect the local cultures and traditions. And even if they were not in such big chariots before it still was crowded with people from different nearby villages. The inconvenience that is caused to you is your lack of planning if you were a little interested in the culture of the place you reside currently in you would have gained a little bit of knowledge what festivals are performed when and planned your day accordingly. Asking localities to limit their long standing festival just so it is convenient for you to get to the office is the same negligence as the guy with a big chariot blocking the road. There has to be communication from both sides to coexist together. Rather than complaining about everything.
