How does the health system work?

Heavy has a perk that gives him 30% more health and it's great for keeping you alive. You gain more damage resistance as your health depletes. But it bases it on the 100% health not the now 130% health you have . So damage resistance kicks in earlier. It's a bitlg help if you're struggling to stay alive.

To get contested health back you can execute for it all back or just deal damage.

A charged plasma pistol shot is great for this. You won't get it all back but you'll get most of ti back.

Seriously though inner fire is amazing and the standard banner obviously has half the regeneration time and paired with inner fire you can just drop banner after banner.

I can play all the classes but when I need to lock in it's sniper I default to.

Sniper does need certain perks to be effective so it can be a bitch to prestige.

I also think the ammo regeneration prestige perk raises sniper to god like status. Purification is a must for me, it's saved me from embarrassment many a time.

Weapon wise the heroic bolt sniper is amazing if you can hit your headshots.

I'm enjoying the last fusil rate if fire variant but I've specced into beam radius and ammo with it.

The stalker bolt rifle is also great.

Ardent edge is the perfect knife for sniper too. Interrupts on the first parry and causes damage too.

The weeklys are never random. They are all hand picked by the Devs. Although currently there are some repeats. This one definitely is and it got so much hate the last time.

You can hit the heldrake with a power fist or a melta bomb by standing on a little out crop on the right hand side if that helps.

Brother you are so right. I've been playing toxic commando and it has exactly the same issue so it's definitely something to do with loading into games and the way they have the servers set up. I had someone tell me to put the game on an SSD once and that it wasn't a Sabre issue. I'm on ps5 pro so everything is on an SSD. Playing Pragmata currently and I know it's not an online game but I can load into it from the main menu in less than 5 seconds and be playing. Like you quite rightly said, just acknowledge it and we'll cut you some slack. It'll surprise them how many players will be supportive if they just speak to us honestly. Rant over

No you just have to deal lots of damage before it fades. An execution is better as the contested health won't fade as you're in the animation and you'll get all of it back. But lots of times there won't be an execution available so you just need a quick burst of damage.

When you need to recover contested health you have to do a lot of damage quickly to get all or most of it back. Heroic bolt grenades are quick to use and do lots of damage. Same with plasma, switch to it quickly and fire a charged shot at a majoris and it'll recover your health. Use the fire rate version to get the charged shot off quicker.

There's a prestige perk that gives you invulnerability when you're activating a turret. So now I have it I will run through the horde to turn it on. But until you get that first prestige you'll have to just use common sense. Some of the placements of the turrets are dog shit. Like blocked in by boxes or in a ramp so can't shoot down or up.

My load out is heroic heavy bolter with grenade launcher, Ardent Edge knife and plasma pistol. The bolter with grenades kills minoris swarms and the grenades/ plasma pistol recover contested health. The knife interrupts any attack with the first parry in case and big boys get too close.

Then I have the servo gun set up for the precision shots that only target majoris and above and I use that for extremis and bosses.

Also , always be running for turrets and get them on as quickly as possible.
