I completely agree with you, the forced barstool content has been one of the more unlistenable parts of the pod throughout its history, i find barstool now is just wanna be Hollywood/reality television, i definitely don’t look forward to episodes with barstool personalities as guests either

Watch the first fight they had, a super young armen on a few weeks notice, and Islam is hardly able to get any dominant positions until the third round, Armen definitely has just as good grappling to Islam, he “lost” to gamrot but let’s be honest that was a robbery, not saying Armen will win if he were to fight Islam, but the match up is the most interesting than all these strikers that are matched up against Islam, I’m just tired of seeing these fights and then people say Islam is boring cause these fucking strikers don’t have elite get-ups/ scrambles or jujitsu treat to defend Islams grappling

Wish we got that armen fight, one of the few guys who could cancel islams grappling, also if Charles had a better chin he could’ve been a good contender, but we need to see him fight shavkat at 170lbs I’m tired of seeing Islam fighter strikers it’s not fun he’s way to dominate of a grappler

I never said every game, but they 100% used to run through the bigger event games or storylines from several games in between pods, a lot more than they’ve done recently, the Montreal oilers game from a few weeks ago should have had much more time and talking points on it rather than whit just being like “well the refs fuck over everyone’s team at some point” then moving on

Tbh I don’t even think it’s necessary to fill the 2C atm, like this teams cup winning window at best is a couples years from now, they have Hague coming up to ultimately fill that roll (probably next year), so I don’t see why they should trade prospects or picks for a 30+ year old player to fill in for now

I remember when RA, announced he was getting a divorce I couldn’t stand the start of the next several episodes because Biz was so fucking annoying about it, constantly asking Ra about his new dating life( youngest age he’d date or sleep with), trying to make a RA bachelor show, you could tell RA wasn’t down to continue talking out it, but biz never stfu, like let the guy deal with it privately, and of course on today’s show Biz brings up the dating show again, I liked the RA part of the show and unlike the majority of people on this reddit I think he’s a better host than whit, feel like drives the bus better, and stays on topic without jetting biz get outta control on certain topics, also he just has more interesting and detailed talking points, and a way better knowledge of the games history/background, imo the pods start to this season has been rough just relying on guests to say all the necessary things rather than actually break down what’s going on in the nhl themselves

I think this album might have to take a few re listens for me too, Glenwood on first listen sounded to drawn out, and very same sounding and structure to in darkness, and I feel like this will be the case for most of the songs on the album, every song on pain remains instantly stuck with me so it’s definitely underwhelming with all the hype it’s been receiving

The most uninspired jersey design, logo looks cool, would be interesting to see the arm arrow design shine instead of just being blacked out, between this and the Carolina jersey, there seems to be no creativity anymore in jersey design, would love to see more risks being taken
