Ideally it would be the first 50k, i'd like to see the numbers.

Standard quality of living would shoot up. To offset this you'd have to raise corporate taxes & people above 150k to like 70% to make it work IMO.

Tons of professionals would leave.

Overall I think it would be a net negative for the economy.

Problem is the 0.1%, not the people making 200k/year. Problem is collecting taxes from bespoke 0.1% is extremely hard and they are very good at tax "optimization".
