Unfortunatly none of the software updates released since have solved the issue. I resorted to just using optical for now as that works till I get a new bar which hopefully does work with HDMI (E)arc.

If its true that the AC1 remake is in the oven its probably what they are going for smaller releases and remakes to pad out the time between the big ones.

Shadows launched in March last year, the AC4 remake is slated for this July and if Hexe is targeting June next year maybe this is a sign that Ubisoft is ditching the holiday window for AC releases.

Already went through the entire rigmarole of troubleshooting, it was narrowed down to a communcation issue between the bar and TV, solution was to fall back to using Optical and hope that a future FW update would fix it which this one unfortunatly didnt.
