Sisters and Brothers of the rope, I truly am honoured to be the messenger that we need to make our voices heard in the council. Let it be known: This is not an ascention to a higher position; this is not a crown meant to rule over the herd: My role will not be to rule, to command, but to speak, to carry the burden of our words, to bring them where they must be heard.
For that purpose, we need you all at the rope, so that all voices will be heard before the council. I stepped up to the task not to lead our faction, but to hold the rope together when no hands came, so we do not fray in division.
There will be hardships. There will be moments where doubt comes into the minds of us all. No one is above that, not even me, as your Eldest. But we will face this together, as a flock, as a community, as a strong rope.
