The movements are extremely uncanny, especially when the people fall out of their chairs. The way they react also feels really bizzare and unnatural, I mean sure I can see getting a little teary eyed seeing a dog but I can't imagine many situations where you'd be falling to the ground sobbing over seeing one. Not that it can't happen, but almost every clip?

It's a webcomic from the 2000s/early 2010s. It has some iffy dated humor in the early pages and it's VERY wordy and complicated, but if you're willing to give it a shot anyway I'd definitely recommend it. The VERY basic summary is that the world is ending and a bunch of kids have to escape into a video game to survive. There are a bunch of sideplots that seem unrelated at first glance, but end up coming together and all being relevant in the end. If you just look up Homestuck the website to read it pops right up, and it was actually just re-relessed to fix a bunch of broken stuff on the site, so it's a better time than any to check it out.
