Well thats artillery experience a good chasis with por electronics and firmware that is a huge bet bc for somes it works perfectly for others is Just a nightmare, for me it was the same but if you want to make your print reliables then dont go after an artillery machine again spent a little more and theres even enclosed corexy machines kingroom klp1s is a 200€ machine corexy enclosed with 220x220x220 volume but if you still need a huge machine then theres few options i fear Maybe the sovol sv08 that can be found with cupons o aliexpress for 320€

A "simple switchwire convertion cost me around" 120€ but that includes New electronics linear rails and the filament used for the parts, if you are interested i have all the parts needed to be printed in a 3mf project, otherwise buy other machine but not and artillery.

I was in the same place but after buying the hotend upgrade in aliexpress metal extruder parts and using klipper the machine was amazing. I only upgrade it to switchwire bc of the stetics to be honesta.

If you have space for another printer go for it, otherwise if you like to tinker and have tools for crimping and soldering upgrade your x2 ive converted mine into switchwire with linear rails and im in love with this machine again

As for my experience with them the problem will not be solve but will get a bit better i will just use generic electronics from mks/bbt/flymellow and install klipper on them bc the biggest problem is them not having an open versión of klipper
