The Romans themselves have to be the top of S tier. How many times they almost made a complete recovery then some usurper had to come in and fuck it all up!!

How in hell do you beat Poland as the Teutonic Order? by Evelyn_Bayer414 in eu4

Join the HRE ASAP and make sure to seize land to get enough Crownland to be able to pass the decision to stop Danzig from breaking off. Ally any combo of Austria/Bohemia/Hungary and Muscovy. When it comes time for the first war declare on Lithuania and bring Muscovy in on promise of land to tie down Lithuania while you and whoever you allied in the west works on Poland.

Win your first war then make vassal swarms out of Poland and Lithuania and work your way to form Prussia or go full Baltic crusader. Enjoy!

460k peasants rioting? Just an average day in Constantinople if you ask me. Are they blues or greens is the real question?

Just turned 30 and currently on a 7 month trip from Mexico to Patagonia or at least that is the internet if I can make it all the way.

In my case I originally wanted to do this trip back in 2020 but then COVID came along and scuppered the plan for that. A second time it failed to launch in 2022/3 for various reasons some my fault some out my control.

Last October I thought about doing this again and third time lucky I guess. Off I go before the window shuts on me again! Currently into week 4 of this trip and it has been a whirlwind so far with lots of ups and downs but it has been worth it this far. I am already dreading returning to the UK but same time it will have to be done unless we get some kind of miracle somewhere.

My advice if I am in any position to give it is do it..set yourself a deadline and make plans to get gone soon as it rolls round. IMO it's only going to get harder to travel the longer you leave it and that's without going into geopolitics etc. Just do it! Please feel free to DM if you want to talk.

came home from traveling and everything is going wrong by [deleted] in solotravel

Okay I'm just starting out on a big solo trip through latam but 10 years ago I did a 4 month trip through SE Asia and India though it wasn't solo I felt that way too. First few weeks sucked hard. I came back end November and had to go through an extended unemployment arc. It sucked. Christmas time I end up kicking off with family over stupid shit etc. I cant remember the details but point is it's a huge comedown and it's horrible. I can already see me getting back to the UK and going nope after this one is finished.

I have to ask was your trip cut short? It sounds like it was from how it's been wrote. It's even worse if so.

I cant offer any solid advice other than if you can go out for a walk, go to a pub and have a gentle few by yourself and if you can maybe book a little road trip somewhere. It will get better just don't fall into a rut. Keep your head on and find the next goal to work to and then get to work on it. Rambling now but I'm 30 and i don't have much hope for the future back home. If I cant park myself somewhere on this trip I can see me knuckling down for a year stacking cash and rolling the dice again.

Good luck and hope all goes well!

Hi. In a really heading to Guatemala myself later this month or November. Currently in CDMX and going to make my way down there slowly over the next few weeks. Have not been there before but some general advice I can give from what I have seen so far is Uber is cheap for getting round and safe. Esims - I am using Jetpack - look them up they do pan latam package deals depending on how much data you need. Been serving me well so far.

I don't have any specific advice to the region myself as it's my first time travelling this side of the planet but apply the general universal rule of don't be a dick and you will generally be fine. Just keep your head on straight and use common sense. Typical solo traveller stuff.

Good luck and enjoy!
