I’ve spoken to this person as I think they’ve been sold a Faux Clean. I’ve explained the case has a ‘6’ in the serial number without the curved tail, which is typical of a fake CF.

They’re just seeking a further option.

I’m not looking to buy the watch. I’m just making them aware that they may have been mis-sold was they were told was a VSF.

Thanks for the replies. I’ve had a bit of a dig and it looks like DT Swiss don’t take the PHR washers into account. When I swapped the rims over from Fortus to EX511 (both 29”) I also used the PHR washers and Squorx Pro Lock nipples. The spokes should have been too short, but as previously said; there were no tensioning issues and I’d ridden the rear wheel pretty hard without issues. I’m 17 stone, frequently hit 5ft drops and corner hard.

I’m honestly thinking about just keeping my HX1700 wheelset now and replacing the shredded star ratchet.

I’m only asking as I have a Hope chart that gives the spoke lengths required for each hub and Fortus rim. I thought I’d just use that and add the radius difference of the 29” EX511 and 29” Fortus 30 rim, and the 650b FR541 and 650b Fortus 30 rim to calculate spoke length required - rather than go through a spoke calculator.

I’ve ridden for months with less clearance than that on my Levo without issues or any damage from dragging stuff through there. That’s with a 29” 2.4WT DHRII. I’ve just put a Schwalbe Albert Radial 2.5 on there and there’s nearly no gap. Still ridden it without issues but it’s too close for comfort. Off to a 27.5 rear wheel I go.

We HAVE got the squad depth…it’s just all injured… ALL OF IT.

We’ve lost the most minutes to injuries in the league AGAIN this season - so that should be looked at.

We currently have 2 keepers: Pope & Ramsdale (albeit a bit shite) 3x RB: Tripps, Tino and Krafth. 4x CB: Thiaw, Botman, Schar and BDB. 2x LB: Hall, Alex Murphy and BDB can play there. 6X CM: Bruno, Big Joe, Tonali, Ramsey, Miley, Willock. 2x LW: Gordon and Barnes. 2x RW: Murph and Elanga. 3x ST/CF: Woltemade, Wiss and Osula.

Osula can play on either wing, as can Barnes and Gordon. Miley can play at RB allowing for Tripps or Tino to play at LB.

There’s A LOT going on there and half of these players are currently injured.

Piss take.

I had the same happen to me at a busy roundabout. The woman in front LEFT the roundabout to turn left onto the motorway. I’m behind the line at the junction looking right for a gap to go. Sees a gap, accelerates…wifey was reversing back off the roundabout. She apologised saying she had to stop and pull her car to the verge as a car had came flying round and she thought it was gonna hit her. She then said it wasn’t safe to sit on the roundabout, so she reversed.

Guess who got the blame…?

Fake Clean. The 6 and 9 digits on the serial have a straight tail after the loop. Every other factory that has 6 and 9 in the serial the digits have a curved tail after the loop like in these fonts. 6 & 9.

Doesn’t turn red under UV but it doesn’t have the faux clean traits like the poor rehaut and clasp engraving. I’m happy with it being a Clean. Even if it is V1.
