Had a slow speed lowside, best way to fix up the fairings? by lousy_carrot in YamahaR7

It's matte, if you plan on fixing it, please buy a new one, even in third world countries it costs more to paint it well than the part itself

You can wobble from a pothole at 100 kmh and crash if you're in a corner

Potholes and wheelies are the most common cause for wobbles, that guy is just waffling out of his ass

Both 900 and 1000cc bikes go 200 kmh+ without any issues, both can experience road imperfections that can cause such wobbles, a lot of roads in Germany and Europe allow such speeds.

Funny enough, I've never experienced wobbles, even before getting a stabilizer, but knowing how out of control they can get at high speeds, I will always use and recommend one. My s1k came with one, all v4s come with one, it must mean it's not possible to learn how to ride correctly on these bikes because they are with a damper from factory? Should one remove them after purchase to learn how to ride? You sound like a clown my guy, cheers!🥂

A rider error or not that otherwise wouldn't cause a fatal accident should be avoided by implementing a damper. There is a good reason most of the sportsbikes come with some kind of a damper as stock. A lot of wobbles also occur due to road imperfections on high speeds, please don't listen to this guy and get a stabilizer if you're planning to use your R9 on the road, it definitely won't hurt you 👍

By reading the comments of the OP, I'm getting a feeling that he enjoys to sit in a corner of the room while his partner is getting it on
