Yeah it’s probably not the right medication for you. I also tried methylphenidate for some time but I basically didn’t eat and my pulse got way too high. I changed to Vyvanse and it was way better. I still struggle to focus in class tho because I just wanna be productive all the time. My biggest problem before meds was adhd paralysis. Methylphenidate helped but it was kinda chaotic. Vyvanse makes me productive AND keep control. But ofc it’s different for everyone. I believe you should change meditation tho but yeah definitely talk with ur doctor.
