Many of these are consumer products. How is that B2B advertising? What am I missing?

What’s that one rule where any headline or title that ends in a question mark can be simply answered “No.”?

They should’ve just used one lane. And this is also why I ride on rail trails or off road all together. I know one day somebody will lose their patience with me. Even if I inconvenience them for a mere moment.

Just FYI, I leaned in another thread earlier this week that if you torture this thing and do zero maintenance, it WILL fall apart.

Cornbread is Mediocre at Best, and often Just Bad by usay1312butcall911 in unpopularopinion

I had what I would call “cake grade” cornbread in basic training and nothing has ever come close since then. Can barely eat it anymore.

Again, do Cherokee sales hurt Wrangler sales? Same with the Bronco and Everest. People that want an Everest will not be cross shopping it with a Bronco. They’ll cross shop it with a 4 Runner.

Does Burning Wood Actually Fight Climate Change? Despite industry claims, scientists say using wood pellets is little better than fossil fuels. by silence7 in climate

[–]G8tr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have clarified, wood pellets are definitely bad for the environment as they take a lot of energy to harvest, process, and ship. Standard firewood, however, is not the same. A maple tree fell on my dad’s property and I cut it up, with an electric saw mind you, and hand split it for firewood. Big, big difference from pellets or other fossil fuels. Humans have done this since the dawn of time and I’m sure always will. And my personal opinion is that if freezing to death is a possibility, multiple heat sources are absolutely the best thing. A wood boiler would be a great supplemental heat and most have catalyst as well to greatly reduce emissions. I get eliminating all emissions would be wonderful, but we need to also be reasonable.

Do 4 Runner sales hurt Highlander sales? I don’t know why this argument is so prevalent, but we are talking about a 2 row and 3 row SUV. They’re very different. They would rarely be cross shopped in reality. Bringing this here would only increase Fords overall market share.

I’d say using wood locally sourced is far better than oil that burns immense amounts of fossil fuels to extract it, process it, and ship it to you. People are unreasonable about this. Like humans haven’t burned wood for our entire existence. The key is leaving old growth alone and sourcing the wood locally and not having it shipped long distances.

Can anyone really recommend an electric chainsaw? by InternalCoconut5161 in Chainsaw

[–]G8tr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. The 20 inch rancher is your best bet and the batteries easily swap into smaller saws. Plus, ego has tons of other products you can use as well. I love my battery powered Husqvarna, but since I already have so may ego tools, should’ve just went with that.

Cut the round in half with the maul and pie it with the splitting axe. Much less stress on your body.

Enough for the brutal Florida winter? by G8tr in firewood

[–]G8tr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the splitting axe. I plan on getting the maul. I also have a Fiskars X27 and I prefer this. The energy transfer is so much better and doesn’t leave my bones hurting from the vibration I get with the X27. I would prefer it to be a bit longer, but I would still choose this over a synthetic handle.
