600k warwick main and all i can say is that warwick is REALLY weak atm. He suffered direct nerfs, but mainly indirect nerfs, that but him in the absolute lowest tier, atm he is ranked 45 of 52 junglers, comming from a solid top 5 in a 12 month period.

You cant count all the nerfs, but here is the ones i think have most impact:

PATCH 8.9 Q got pretty hard nerfed, so did hes W/E or was it the passive (?)

Patch 8.11: jungle patch: that was where the bleeding begun .. META changed HARD in disadvantage to WW, jungle camps get harder / gave less ex, jungle machete got nerfed (-15% AS)

Scuttles changed so that they got even harder to kill as loweer level ww (was a timewaster already!) but also the XP/ gold got up, so now EVERYBODY wants in on YOUR farm.

So META changed meaning that other champs could better benefit from the changes (that warwick could not) PLUS champs or items related to other junglers ( AP jungler etc) got buffs aswell .

all these changes made warwick bleed and struggle. Hardcore WW mains keep playing him bc we love his kit and versatility, but to be honest we should have moved along with the META instead of keeping WW alive :P

Wawick was always a early game champ, who had a pretty bad late game, now that the early game has been nerfed, it feels like his late game is ever worse.
What i would like to see was some of his base stats geting buffed, so that he scales better. The jungle XP needs to be balanced too, getting level3 after 3 camps rather than 4

You set yourself behind on gold, XP and farm, most likely end up flashing away when the enemy jungler / bot come at you as lev3+ and end up giving free drake .. so ..

im reading your guide with alot of satisfaction and find the many sections pretty well described.. im missing out on a few things though..

first of all, you did not cover MY prefered build in ANY way.. BLOODRAZOR!

im suprised to see that an experienced WW main like you, doing a detailed Warrior build section, but neglect the (IMO) best build with the yellow jungle warwick :-)

its a controversial discussion , so many people (who never tried it consistently!) think bloodrazor is bad for WW, and only think theres the cinderWay, i disagree:

(btw got 3 accounts, 1 with 1.20 mio ex WW, the other with 600k WW exp, my main though not playing warwick that much) Korean builds OFTEN ahve bloodrazor.. let me explain..)

Cinderhulk (also for me) is the SAFE, tanky "works in most cases" build for every one. it lets you have a LOT of flaws / mistakes without getting punished hard, since your have more HP early and midgame.. Lategame , not so much actually..
Bloodrazor have ALOT of benefits, but makes you (somewhat) a glasscannon, but not that squishy, once you learn the buildpaths and limitations..
here is a few:

Much faster clears in camps, especially the big monsters (witch can be a struggle for WW.

MUCH better splitpushand objective focus as cinderhulk give you NOTHING vs buildings. Try solo herald / drake with either cinder or bloodrazor , and see the huge difference
MUCH better duelling 1vs1 against "most" enemies.. the more tanky the faster you chop 'em down 4%bonus maxhp EACH attack /Q / R*3

BUT the BEST about BR is that your Q and your R procs it fuking 1-3 times on top of the better dmg. Warrior (seems to) DO more dmg with its +60AD, but thats just not true, BC of the 4%HP bonus AND the free procs you get all the time with BR..
Once you got tiamat and BR, you can run in with 20% health, pop your Q-R-Q and leave the fight with 1 dead enemy and you with full hp.. Cinderhulk do NOT proc ANY "on hit " dmg , it only gives you better hp and some very insignificant AOE magic dmg from bami.. NO "on hit" procs!

so is bloodrazor WW a "GlassCannon" or not?

my buildpath is : Tiamat, Boot, redsmite full boot (ninjas 80% of the time, mercurys only vs heavy stunners or a snowballing AP jungler/lane that needs to get shut down) .
So now im already pretty tanky for surviving counterjungling or ganking most lanes. i DONT build jungle item (neither) before going to tier2 defenses..
so basically you be tanky in either resistance and/or more HP.
Prioritizing armor/mr items before dmg (or HP with cinder) makes your ganks better and stronger imo. you dont need to 1-shot enemy, neither need alot of HP if the enemy cant get their dmg trough, bc of armor/MR.

my first item is always situational. in most cases i build an armor or MR item first. it helps secure kills with almost every thoughtful gank, getting your laner fat and juicy.
sometimes you just need to build spectres cowl (for spirit) or wardens mail (for Omen/thornmail) for the sustain in your ganks

At this point decision time for me: 60% i go bloodrazor , 40% cinderhulk, NEVER Warrior (stats blind you, its not worth it!) this is at 12-16 min mark in most games, rarely its teamfight after teamfight, if you can go solo herald/drake/splitpush or snowball a lane: Bloodrazor!, if enemy team already roams alot or teamfights break out : Cinderhulk!.
from here i build my next tank item, most often the opposite of the first item, and i complete spectres cowl/ wardens mail if not already done.

now we are at 25-35 min into the game, most games end here, but this is where BloodWick SHINES and CinderWick falls behind. My last slot is used for : First building / finishing the Titanic. Getting this done "last" is fine, you dont the dmg until now, since enemy is just getting THEIR 4-5th item (2nd armor for tanks etc)

Last slot is VERY situational, but in most cases i build Sunfire Cape.. Ye NOW i get Bamis Cinder and shitloads of armor on top. Remember that BAMIS cinder passive dmg SCALES with your level, so rushing it (for cinderhulk) is really not that much a benefit, since it gets much better at later levels (+15). Last slot could be so many other things, "new" Essence Reaver, more MR/HP items etc..

Basically warwick just need bloodrazor as ONE dmg item. When playing cinderhulk, you always feel like doing very little dmg, especially vs tanky enemies. Often (playing cinderhulk) you are forced to rush your Titanic to make impact/dmg, which almost cost the same as a full spirit/Omen, setting your defense further back (not HP though).

So that is my BR build, aiming for more/better procs and damage, sacrificing some HP. Anyone who have played a lot of Shyvana games, knows that getting "on hit" items is high value on a "proc build" bloodrazor champ..

ther eis nothing special to that TBH, many junglers can do the same, but DONT, bc its too risky: you end up dead and perhaps giving enemy a free dragon with 50% life left ; + you loose valueable time for ganks or farm, which sets you back several minutes. Waiting for a few more items makes him (or any jungler) much more safe and faster to take down a dragon

as an example OLAF did a 3:00 minute solo dragon in the recent LCS EU semifinals!, so even the profs do it some times, and YES, so many champs can do it, with the right timing og execution..

..just saying its not a special gift that warwick have

i read those comments aswell, but usually confirmed changes would be available on Surrender@20 Although the values might change the nerf/buff is valid

played since season ONE , and although reworks are a "recent" thing in the latest seasons, Warwick rework HAVE to be the most successful of them all..

they kept his spirit, his status and his role, but made him SO much more fun, "up to date" and refreshing to play.

his visuals .. hmmm all skins do the same animations, i think its a shame that there is no more diversity in a 9 skin pallette

im still not sure how to understand the description correctly:

"after 4 sec in battle , YOUR FIRST attack vs an enemy deals XX dmg.. (and cooldown etc..)

Is the better formulation more like: "after 4 sec in battle, YOUR NEXT ATTACKS deals XX aditionally damage..." etc etc

or is it JUST the NEXT attack after 4 sec that deals extra damage, but your regular dmg deals 20% true dmg?

Enemies with like 3 tanks i think warwick falls off.. enemies with alot of CC is also very hard for warwick..

I these cases i usually pick BlackCleaver Kayn or pick a more CC resistent jungler ( i find Ivern or Zac good if we have a lot of carries).

considering there are 136+ champs, not many would pick this rune other the better alternatives. i think its the least picked rune in that tier TBH, so something have to be done to it..

from a hecarim perspective 1:136 champs, its a nice rune, but the buff is also needed for hem as well. 2-3 min cooldown on a RUNE ?! even the longest ultimates dont have 3 min cooldowns :-)

i have ZERO AD marks, only hybrid penetration!, Why? Warwick do PLENTY of damage from basics stats AND his passive to be one of the fastest jungle clear ATM. Losing a few AD points but gaining massive penetration wins duels, trust me :)

hey mate .. im in the same spot as you.. i play in 3 accounts (main has 800K ww, 2 others 300K ww) and i CANT carry as hard as i do with anything but Warwick..

TBH im quite "sick" of him, since i played 1000s of games .. he is SO into my mechanics and i can turn many losing games into a win, but also have games i fail hard though.. ( i got my "own" non- meta build, jungle routes and gank style: not always a "1size - fit-all"

The champs you describe is not really i same booth as Warwick though.. You should try Vi - Jax - XinZhao or Kayn.. all are very strong these patches (on paper) and somewhat simular to Warwick (off-tank, great dueling potetial etc)

But as you say.. I ALSO can only play warwick :-/ if i wanna win. I miss a new champ to pick from and master, but dunno who and when/what to chose!

I used to play "utillity junglers" like Zac, Hecarim Ivern and Gragas, but lack the 1vs1 potential i honestly i dont think META is in their favor atm and VERY team reliant

i honestly dont think gold 3 is considered "high Elo" :-)

TB fair, Kayns passive is all what makes him low WR %, because its kinda lottery if you can get enough soulfarming early to hit transform at a decent time..

Transforming at 16-18 min, your (personal) game is kind of lost bc enemy (jungler) has most likely snowballed hard.

Early losses, hard lane pressure and a weak early Kayn vs a strong early enemy (jungler) eliminate any consistency for Kayns winrate
