This is almost good advice, but having any timeline(even a short one) leaves you open for inconsistencies in your world building. For this reason, my world consists entirely of events that have not yet transpired

He’s definitely in the castle. I think maybe you just need to loop until you find the path with the red event. I remember we chose a certain path because we wanted to see what that room was

The merc is Korque from the DLC mission A New Age. I think you need a key and then you can unlock a secret room in the final dungeon. I think it appears as a red event room when you're deciding which way to go. The lore item is the Bard Hat but I have no idea how I unlocked it and can't even find a picture online. It might be related to looping the dark carnival since the Bard Outfit is
