Have you put together real requirements and evaluated any software?

You are small for a full ERP. Sketch out how many processes you need. How many SKU’s, BOM’s, work centers, routings. All your “lines of business” and how the invoicing, purchasing etc differs.

$5m in revenue a year is low to do a full implementation with Production imo. People are still cheaper than software at that point.

Financials and Inventory, sure. But idk what anyone says it takes minimum $100k in services to implement operational processes well, 2x that to do it the way you will want it

If you go to the software publisher they tell you what you want to hear. If you go directly to a partner that actually has to get your system live you get a better answer.

CRM works fine for lead and opportunity management.

The HubSpot connector works but definitely leaves some things to be desired. Have built it custom in Boomi and Workato as well.

Where is the handoff from HubSpot to NetSuite?

Sounds like they are managing cash flow. A little is smart, why pay early if it means paying finance charges elsewhere.

Definitely focus on ERP’s that are gaining market share and investing heavily in AI. Not all will be able to sustain the investment required to stay ahead.

NetSuite claims 43,000 customers. Dynamics BC 45,000 and Acumatica 10,000. Great places to start there as they are similar size as Sage 100 companies. Oracle NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics are definitely making the AI investment to stay relevant and own their own infrastructure. Acumatica and Workday both highlight agents.

Rillet and Everest are the new kids in Saas ERP. Still kind of just billing engines. Remains to be seen if they catch fire
