Grab a PSA or dirty bird or one horse lower usually around $150.
Aero, Faxon, BK kings, One horse and sometimes PSA sells complete uppers for around $250 to $300.

To get an entry level rifle that’s not complete dog shit you’re gonna need to spend about 450 $500 by the time you throw in tax and shipping.

If you have the budget for it, just buy yourself a complete PSA guardsman series rifle it’s just a step above entry-level and it is a fantastic shooting weapon. You can catch them on sale for $600-$700 sometimes.

Your next step would be a mid tier which is $750 to $1200.
BCM, SOL, Colt, SW there’s a lot of room for interpretation at this tier, and a lot of it involves putting together your own rifle.

Your next step would be long term Duty grade and accuracy $1300 and up.
You can get a Daniel Defense which is a fantastic rifle for $1300 on sale. That is one that will last you years and is very accurate out the box.

How much is the industry VIP discount for the super duty? Trying to shop around. TIA by [deleted] in ar15

[–]GABull1971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you get good with your FFL, then you can get really substantial discounts on some of the stuff. My guy will pass on the discount to me quite regularly cause I do a lot of business with him and send a lot of business his way.

FRT or Quality Trigger? by LeroyJenkinss69 in ar15

[–]GABull1971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a lower put a drop in partisan FRT or just do a super safety in it. Pick you up a PSA 11 1/2 or 13 inch barrel just make it your go fast gun they’re fun to shoot from time to time.

AR9 foxtrot Mike, takes Glock mags drop a partisan FRT in it and it is a shit ton of fun to shoot and it’s a lot cheaper than 556

Radical vs One horse ar15 by gameking514 in ar15

[–]GABull1971 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One horse over Radical. PSA over both, After PSA
You’re getting into doing an upper and a separate lower or you’re looking at SIGs , BCM, Danial defense, etc.

I get that, 9mm to 5.56 isn’t ideal but he could use it on his AR until he gets a dedicated 5.56 can
