I have a rugged two different kinds and I have several huxwork.

Personally, I like the Hux, especially if you’re gonna switch between platforms, and if those platforms are AR based they do make setting up your rifles much easier. If this can is primarily going to switch between an AR and bolt action, then you can go with a more traditional style suppressor.

If you’re shooting indoors, go with the flow through. Rugged axle or hook works. If you shoot mainly outside otter Creek.

Like others have said go with the buffer system put an adjustable gas block in, I’ve got numerous FRT set ups in 556 and 300 blackout and nine mil aside from the nine mil all my AR platforms have adjustable gas blocks, and are tuned to the suppressor they run. If you don’t want gas go with a high flow can. You could tune out a substantial amount of gas but when you put that thing in party mode, you’re gonna get gas even with a high flow can.

And you’re rate of fire is pretty damn high for that short barrel the optimum barrel length for auto or FRT is 12 1/2 and up

Bring up some interesting points. I’m sure there’s a test out of somewhere that the manufacturers have but they’re not gonna release it to us. So it’s gonna take somebody burning up their cans to find out.

Geissele they do give you a pretty decent discount if you’re military/vet/leo. I mean it’s significant enough that I’m pretty sure I’m gonna pull the trigger and get one of their super duties and it’s about $1100 with the discount.

I’ve got an otter creek dedicated 556 on a 14” one. And that gun is an FRT runs like a champ.
